I, not grasping at things, am liberated in my own nature. If I examine the object, realization without acceptance or rejection arises. Suffering and happiness, good and bad, clean and defiled, and whatever is seen as right and wrong, do not apply conceptual thoughts to anything. Therefore, realize that there is nothing to abandon or attain. Remaining in this state of realization, the ten perfections, practicing the Dharma, etc., all skillful means of practice, without abandoning any, are completely fulfilled. Furthermore, listen to the essence of the gathering. Even if it is not directly realized, just as the waxing moon gradually fills, after realizing it, all the qualities of the Buddha will gradually manifest. Even if you know and realize in this way, do not show the experience to others, because slander, obstacles, and loss of accomplishment will arise. Therefore, it is said to keep one's own experience secret. Those who have this experience of realization will have various joys and pleasures. At that time, the yogi will feel flustered. Due to the control of arrogance, demons will appear. In the Tantra of the Great Perfection, Spontaneous Bliss Wheel of Meaning, the forty-first chapter is the teaching on the experience of the mind of realization. Then, for the benefit of the retinue, Vajrasattva asked the meaning. For those who have the experience of meditation, the demons of experience of view, meditation, and conduct, please the King of Equality to explain. After hearing these requests, he taught to the assembled retinue: In samadhi, post-meditation, and bardo, appearances are light and sound, terrifying images and deceptive lies, if you know it is a view, it is the supreme path. Furthermore, listen, all of you of the gathering. When the supreme yogi enters into meditation, it is as bright as the sun rising at dawn in the dark clouds of night. The good and evil of sentient beings in the three realms, whatever it is, will not be missed, and all will be known before and after. At that time, the demon of compassion will enter, and the suffering of compassion for sentient beings will arise. Abandoning meditation to benefit others, therefore, one will become a slave of the demon and fall. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen. A sound comes from the empty sky, proclaiming various Sugata Dharmas. The pure land is adorned with ornaments, and pleasant sounds are heard. Abandoning meditation to sing and dance, due to satisfaction and amazing joy, if one clings to this, one will lose experience. One will be deceived by the demon of joy. Furthermore, listen to the essence of the gathering. Whether it is meditation experience or a dream, terrifying images, etc.

The ground is not virtuous, abiding in its own nature becomes a downfall. Therefore, abandoning meditation, the demon of sorrow arises, displeasure, suffering, and misery occur. At that time, despairing of karma, one weeps alone like a mute. Falling under the power of the demon of form. That also, Vajrasattva, listen. In experiences and dreams, showing pleasing forms, showing all good and bad of the three times. Speaking to others becomes true. The demon of thinking "I" enters, abandoning meditation and becoming greedy. Half true and half untrue in the middle, ultimately all that is said is false. The deceiving demon deceives oneself and falls. That also, listen to the essence of gathering. The demon of view, those also, because this place is not known as a diversion, clinging to appearances, forms, etc., mind entering the object, whatever is practiced is a demon. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, Meaning Gathered, Self-Arisen Wheel of Bliss: The chapter on showing the demon of view, the forty-second, is complete. That also, Vajrasattva, listen. The demon of the five senses sinking into clarity, the demon of distraction by conditions, the non-conceptual demon, the demon of scattering without moving arise. That also, listen to the essence of gathering. Desiring to quickly attain meditation, practicing for a long time without attaining measure. The demon of intoxication enters, clarity sinks. Controlled by ignorance, one falls asleep. Abandoning clarity and sinking into dullness. By that effort, meditation is lost. Without searching, good and bad dreams arise. Therefore, deceived by the demon of sinking. That also, Vajrasattva, listen. Because self-awareness, the Dharmakaya, is not attained, wisdom is obscured by the power of ignorance. The demon of no memory enters, meditating on the nature becomes dull and bliss is lost. Without self-awareness, peaceful abiding sinks. Without insight, one is separated from meaning. Although meditating, it is meaningless, deceived by the demon. Therefore, cherish the oral instructions with lineage. That also, listen to the essence of the retinue. Not liking to be alone but liking to gather, caused by other conditions, the demon enters, abandoning meditation, clinging to objects of yes and no, various attachments arise. Without non-conceptuality, afflictions arise. By clinging to abandoning and gathering, one makes oneself suffer. Therefore, deceived by the demon of distraction. That also, Vajrasattva, listen. Because one has not repeatedly become accustomed, the demon of the scattering thief enters, whatever word, thinking in the mind, one is separated from immovability.
