Holding, it is called "immediate condition." Because of the combination of cause and immediate condition, it is co-emergent ignorance. Now listen to the essence of aggregation again: From this, consciousness enters the womb, giving rise to subtle ego-grasping, attachment, and aversion. The inner grasping becomes completely firm, therefore it is called the objective condition. After being taken out from within, the habitual tendencies of external objects appear. One's own mind's negative thoughts enter. All eight worldly dharmas are examined in relation to objects. "I," "mine," negative thoughts, grasping, looking, and clinging. Because the cause of manifestation and attachment and aversion are complete, the two conditions of object and master are complete. This is called the imputed ignorance. Now listen to the essence of aggregation again: The combination of co-emergent and imputed is the alaya consciousness. Because this gives rise to the complete eight aggregates, it is called wandering in samsara. Now listen to the essence of aggregation again: The wisdom of all Buddhas arises from realizing the nature of one's own mind, or from knowing the basis of all that is self-arisen. Having known this, one understands the definitive meaning of the authoritative teachings. Because these two combine, it is wisdom, like the combination of medicine and a doctor. In the aggregation of the definitive meaning of the Great Perfection, the seventeenth chapter, which explains the difference between ignorance and wisdom. Then, the All-Knowing King taught the difference between objects and mind: All phenomena of appearance and existence are due to the increase of habitual tendencies of the deluded mind. The appearances and attachments are various, but their essence is not established in objects. Therefore, appearance is false delusion. Now listen to the essence of aggregation again: One's own mind is an example of delusion, like a rope, a snake, a stump, or a person. One completely examines what is non-existent as existent. The four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind are due to the increase of habitual tendencies of delusion. Although they appear to be real, they are not actually existent. This object is completely non-existent, but all the ignorant hold it to be real. They fall by following wrong views and are misled by monkey-like false teachings. Now listen, Vajrasattva: The self-aware Dharmakaya wisdom is not produced by the four conditions of ignorance. Because there is no alaya, there is also no mind. Both object and mind do not exist on the ground. Therefore, in the Dharmakaya, which is not mind, the wise, possessing self-aware wisdom, are free from grasping because there is no appearance. Clear and without grasping, unmoving, this is said to be the intention of all Buddhas. Now listen, Vajrasattva:

The cause of holding the mind as an object, the seed of samsara is ignorance. Suffering arises from the combination of cause and condition, therefore, the self-deluded, ignorant mind. The cause of grasping and fixating on rising and falling, attachment and aversion arise dependent on delusion. The cause of samsara is the two, attachment and aversion. Between one and not one, in the midst of effort, the edge of samsara has no end. Therefore, having realized the meaning of self-awareness, what can exist in a mind-less object? Therefore, this essence of one's own mind, because it transcends the object of the mind, between speaking of one and not one, in the ignorant mind there is object-mind. Those with wrong views hold it as true, therefore, the dharma of sound and characteristics, like a monkey's argument, are falsely created by conceptual thought, and all the dharmas of object-mind effort arise. I have shown the scriptures and oral instructions, to the truly certain Buddha, self-awareness, the Dharmakaya, is separate from the mind. Therefore, object-less awareness is primary, hearing my scriptures destroys object-mind. Now again, listen to the essence of the gathering, that too, the root is summarized, like the sun rising without shadows, by realizing the meaning of the self-born Dharmakaya, confusion and obscuration, object-mind, are eliminated from the root. Therefore, the self-born wisdom body, because it is unchanging in the three times, without error, truly manifests enlightenment. Therefore, it is enough to realize the definitive meaning. From the Great Perfection, the definitive meaning gathering, the eighteenth chapter, which shows the classification of object-mind on the ground. Then, to the assembly of the gathering, the king of all-knowing mind gave instructions on the classification of cause and effect, in the essence of true certainty, because it is not defiled by arising from action, cause and effect are of one essence. The nature of self-born awareness is like a wish-fulfilling jewel, the desired result is perfected at once. Likewise, in the definitive meaning of the Dharmakaya, qualities are perfected by mere realization. Listen also to the essence of the gathering, all the dharmas of other vehicles are cause and effect, not at once but sought in sequence, because there is effort and practice, it is the cause of samsara. Only temporary happiness is attained, there is no ultimate, the sequence of cause and effect is said to be mistaken. For example, all created things, are impermanent and quickly destroyed, likewise, all dharmas created by cause and condition are wrong, the fruit does not arise like a tree in water. Now again, listen to the essence of the gathering, the root of truth is summarized, Taksha Ka.
