Ah! May wisdom increase! "Sang" is to clear away sinking and dullness, "Gye" is to increase the wisdom of superior insight. Therefore, that which does not arise from the mind, the self-luminous wisdom is the Buddha. Now listen again to the essence of the collection: "Sang" is to clear away agitation and distraction, "Gye" is to increase self-aware wisdom. "Sang" is to clear away the clinging to samsara and nirvana, "Gye" is to increase the clarity of the Dharmakaya. "Sang" is to clear away habitual afflictions, "Gye" is to increase self-aware great bliss. "Sang" is to clear away the magic of the four maras, "Gye" is to increase the overpowering gaze. Therefore, this self-arisen awareness, which does not arise from the mind, is the Buddha. Now listen again to the essence of the collection: The Buddhas of the three times are separate from the mind, Since there are no eight consciousnesses, they are separate from the mind. The self-arisen essence, the Dharmakaya, which does not arise from the mind, is the Buddha. All sentient beings arising from ignorance, because they cling to the mind, suffering arises. Therefore, being separate from the mind, there is no elaboration, the non-elaborate nature of reality, the self-arisen body. Because of being separate from one's own mind, there is no object of focus, that which has no object of focus is called the Dharmakaya. Because the mind has three times, life has past, future, and present. Because the mind has change, therefore the body has birth and death. Various kinds of sickness, pain, and happiness, because they are one's own mind, they ripen in samsara. Therefore, the mind is not the Buddha. Now listen again to the essence of the collection: Because there is no birth and death, it is separate from the mind, the unborn, self-arisen, has existed from the beginning. That itself is the wisdom of the path, if beginning and end are cut, then the three times are one. Since the Dharmakaya is one, there is no change, without before or after, it is the self-arisen body. Which does not arise from the mind, is the Buddha. Because there is no change, it is free from suffering, in the inexpressible own nature, there is no feeling, neither happiness nor suffering. Therefore, in the true state of reality, which does not arise from the mind, is the Buddha. Now listen again to the essence of the collection: In all times and activities, without separation from the definitive meaning, it transcends the mind. Therefore, the view does not change, the unchanging Dharmadhatu, the self-arisen space, without distraction, without non-distraction, that itself is the view. As the supreme of all meditations, that which was spoken by the Victorious Samantabhadra, which does not arise from the mind, is the Buddha. Now listen again to the essence of the collection: The Buddha with the excellent definitive meaning, because there is no alaya, there is no appearance. Therefore, this awareness without mind, which does not arise from the mind, is the Buddha.

Yes. In the nature of Vipassanā that is free from mind, there is unwavering confidence in this. Not misunderstanding the Buddha's intention, this is clear in the hearts of the holy ones. The Buddha is not born from the mind. It is superior to the teachings of the nine vehicles. From the Great Perfection, the Gathering of Definitive Meaning, the chapter on teaching the Buddha who is not born from the mind, the fifty-third chapter. Then, to the assembled gathering, the result that does not arise from causes, was declared by the All-Knowing Teacher. The analogy without cause and condition is like a jewel, a precious foundation that possesses everything. The Dharmakāya does not depend on causes at all, let alone needing to rely on conditions. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. Because the cause is impermanent and compounded, it is destroyed by the opponent and goes towards conditions. Therefore, the self-born Dharmakāya, which is not created by conditions, is unchanging and is the essence of all dharmas. All outer and inner dharmas are created by the causes and conditions of negative imprints, so there is no doubt that they are mistaken. Therefore, the essence of the definitive Dharmakāya, which is the ignorance of samsara and nirvana, is the self-born body that does not arise from causes, and the result that is not created by conditions. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. The self-born essence body, which is not born from the cause of ignorance, does not need to rely on the four elements because it is not created by the imagined conditions. Empty space has no cause, so empty awareness is not born from a cause. Space cannot establish the conditions of the four elements, likewise the Dharmakāya is unchanging. Therefore, the result that is not created by conditions is definitely existent. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. The result without a cause is definitely existent, just as the gold in the ocean has no cause. Self-luminous awareness is not born from a cause, just as gold is not stained by tarnish, the Dharmakāya does not change due to conditions. Therefore, the result that is not born from a cause is definitely existent. Sentient beings, not born from a cause, definitely have the Buddha Samantabhadra. The Buddhas of the past were not born from a cause, because they are self-born without conditions, it is said that they are enlightened from the beginning. Now listen to the essence of the gathering again. The cause and condition of the Buddha of interpretable meaning is said to be skillful means and wisdom. As long as one relies on skillful means, it is like mixing wine and poison, which leads to death. Therefore, the self-born does not need skillful means. Skillful means is
