Thereafter, without severing the Dharmakaya, just as when a thief is noticed, it naturally clears without being driven away, in the effortless self-continuum, abide in the meaning of unwavering equality. The yogi who understands that meaning, his body becomes light like cotton, and the inner and outer arising and dissolving breaths are harmonized. The secret practice of the bliss of Dharma-nature. From the Great Perfection Definitive Meaning Gathering, the thirty-eighth chapter: Empowerment of Awareness-Force on the Mind's Self-Nature. Then, the All-Knowing Teacher, in order to reveal the wisdom general effusion, proclaimed the wisdom general effusion of the self-born Dharmakaya luminosity. The analogy for great wisdom is that because the self-born essence pervades, it is like space, without beginning or end. That meaning is the self-born wisdom, the five objects of appearance and existence are clear, conceptual thought is clear as the Dharmakaya, spontaneously accomplished without grasping. When the great Garuda soars in the sky, the splashing waves all fall below. Realizing the definitive meaning perfects the three bodies, and one should abide without arising or dissolving. The state of suchness is non-conceptual, Salewa. In Salewa there is no conceptual thought, that is self-born wisdom. Like the qualities of a precious jewel, all needs and desires arise spontaneously. Likewise, if one recognizes wisdom, dullness and agitation will not arise, and Dharma-nature will be clear. For example, just as poison, when blessed with a mantra, can cure diseases and transform into medicine, likewise, if Dharma-nature is clarified for poisons such as attachment and aversion, they will naturally be liberated. The signs of this are hearing melodious sounds, having good dreams, seeing images and circumambulating, drawing nectar and teaching the Dharma, and the eighteen kinds of demonic manifestations will appear. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering: whatever good or bad conceptual thoughts arise, one should not have thoughts of acceptance or rejection, joy or sorrow. Appearances are unceasing and dissolve on their own, just as ice melts into water. The mind is unmoved, which is a sign of a holy being. From the Great Perfection Definitive Meaning Gathering, the thirty-ninth chapter: Empowerment of Awareness-Force on the Dharma-Nature of Wisdom General Effusion. Then, Vajrasattva asked the All-Knowing King: How does uncultivated wisdom manifest? How are conceptual thoughts liberated in their own place? How are doubts and obstacles removed? Please, All-Knowing Teacher, explain. The meaning of the question is to explain the uncultivated

Without separation from that (essence). The single bindu is perfected. The ground of all is the Dharmakaya. Though various appearances arise, there is no change. Furthermore, Vajrasattva, listen! An example of mind-essence without needing cultivation: It is like the sky needing no cultivation. Likewise, when mind cultivates mind, The Dharmakaya transcends the realm of mind. In the wisdom of emptiness and awareness, There is certainly an unchanging view. In the samadhi of not forgetting the meaning, There is no need to meditate in order to realize one's own mind. Again, Vajrasattva, listen! If you have grasped the meaning of the self-born Dharmakaya, There is no need to entrust awareness to meditation. Therefore, clarity arises from within the self-born nature. The nature of reality, uncultivated, is inseparable. In the intention of the truly enlightened Buddha, Because there is no change, it is uncompounded. The fortunate yogi who realizes this, Without cultivation, has the power of the self-born nature of reality. Do not agitate it with conceptual thoughts. Again, Vajrasattva, listen! In this very awareness of the present moment, Recognize the unmade, self-luminous as the Dharmakaya. From that very moment, clarity arises without attachment. Therefore, there is no need to meditate with antidotes. Remaining serenely in one's own natural state, Merely labeling it as non-distraction, In essence, it is the Dharmakaya itself. Therefore, non-distraction is inseparable. From this very awareness, wherever it abides, There is not even a particle of movement elsewhere. Therefore, the nature of reality remains continuous. Because awareness is sufficient, there is no effort. Again, listen to the essence of the compilation. Having grasped the definitive meaning of the authentic transmission, All is the meaning of self-arising. Pervading like the sky and clear like the sun. Merely being clear, it does not fade away. The blissful Dharmakaya, devoid of substance and all-pervading, Is not non-existent, but knowing and aware. Merely being aware, it is spontaneously empty. In emptiness, there is neither beginning nor end. Again, listen to the essence of the compilation. In the great spontaneously accomplished wisdom, Free from the faults of dullness, excitement, clinging, and grasping, In the great expanse of clarity, bliss, and emptiness, There is nothing to be placed in a natural state. Because there is no abiding, there is no subsequent attainment. From the great self-arising nature of all things, There is not even a particle of movement elsewhere. Again, listen to the essence of the compilation. Thus, the yogi who has realized this, Should not traverse the five paths in the pathless. Should not unite the ten grounds in the groundless. Should not fixate on an object in the objectless. Should not purify the two obscurations in the unobscured. Should not accumulate the two accumulations in the placeless. Having found this definitive meaning, there is no need for accomplishment. From the Great Perfection, the Definitive Meaning Compilation.
