From the "Time" section, the chapter on demonstrating the certain collection of results, the twenty-fifth. Then, Vajrasattva, for the benefit of the assembled retinue, to the King of All-Knowing Mind, with a true mind, made this request: From the single root of the nature of reality, how do the sufferings of the six realms arise? How do the eternalist and nihilist views of the tirthikas err? From where does the sequence of vehicles arise? Please, King of Equality, explain. Having heard the meaning of this request, he spoke to the assembled retinue: The arising of the sufferings of the six realms is from the cause of coemergent ignorance itself. By making conceptual ignorance the condition, like grasping a rope as a snake, the senses think of objects as such. Laziness, idleness, and inferiority are applied. By enjoying the five poisons of attachment and aversion, the ripening result of that arises. Now, listen again to the essence of the gathering. Hell beings see their own minds as fire and so on. Hungry ghosts see impurity appearing as objects. Animals see anthills appearing up and down. Humans see the visible world as four continents. Asuras see weapons. Gods see the seven precious things. These are the sufferings of the six realms. From the Great Perfection, Definitive Meaning Gathering, the chapter on demonstrating how the sufferings of the six realms arise, the twenty-sixth. Then, to the assembled retinue, he spoke about how the tirthikas err: The view of clinging to the extreme of existence is, four changes and five permanences. They think that everything is done by the self. By asceticism with inverted cause and effect, they do not attain liberation and fall into samsara, like trying to squeeze butter from sand. Now, listen again to the essence of the gathering. The desire for utter non-existence and annihilation is, all the dharmas gathered by the aggregates, because they arise from particles, the five elements dissolve into themselves, like a fire extinguished, ashes carried away by the wind. Now, listen again to the essence of the gathering. The tirthikas who think both are the basis are, the view of the Vedic speakers, they think that the basis is not definite, and they do not prevent any appearance. Like a madman possessed by a demon. The definite result of that is, because the root of the mind is not known, like the darkness of the great elements, the rays of compassion are cut off. There is no doubt about the result of hell. From the Great Perfection, Definitive Meaning Gathering, the chapter on demonstrating how the tirthikas err, the twenty-seventh.

Then, to the assembled retinue, he taught the order of the vehicles. The basis is the Dharmakaya, like a mirror, in which appear the nine successive vehicles as reflections. The distinctions in their meaning are: First, the view of the Shravakas, divided into the Sutra School and the Vaibhashika School. Due to the difference in discipline between the Khenpo and the student, through enduring the suffering of asceticism, although the mind imprisons the body and speech, because they adhere to both particles and consciousness, it is like an elephant sinking into the mud. The effort of body, speech, and action does not yield fruit, it is a place of compassion. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. Without relying on the lamas, in order to train the mind in the meaning of one's own mind, after ascertaining the inner and outer dependent origination, relying on emptiness, it will not be firm but will decline, like contemplating kingship with a jewel. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. All dharmas are gathered into the mind, in relative and ultimate truth, with the wisdom of distinguishing separately, the truths are divided into two. Abandoning one and seeking the other, it is like identifying the moon in the water. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. Everything is based on one root, the essential meaning of one's own mind, because one does not understand its depth and vastness, abiding in a state of non-thought, that child is foolish, and will become a source of darkness. The chapter on showing the view of the cause in the Great Perfection Definitive Meaning Gathering, the twenty-eighth chapter, is complete. Then, to the assembled retinue, the All-Knowing Teacher taught: From the state of emptiness of Dharmata, after entering the door of the four purities, emphasizing external resources, in the mandala of the relative deity, with the samadhi of pure lineage, the body is an image, hand gestures, recitations, cleanliness, seasons, with the power of the accumulation of causes and conditions, although the mandala of the three families appears as deities, because of relying on others for accomplishment, it is like an old dog chasing birds. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. In the non-duality of one's own mind, the vehicle of skillful means, also holds onto the two, higher and lower view and conduct, like a parrot imitating a person. Now listen again to the essence of the gathering. The Yoga practitioner, having entered the door of the four mudras, not holding resources as primary, in the ultimate unborn and unceasing, deity
