From the Lineage of Og Gyalpo: From the section on Acknowledging Faults, Making Offerings, Prostrations, and Supports: The Fourteenth Chapter, which is the Chapter on Gathering the Mandala. Vajrasattva spoke: "Whoever prostrates to the deities of the peaceful and wrathful ones' mandala, needless to say, all impairments and breakages will be purified. Even the sins of the five heinous crimes will be purified. Even if one is in the hell realms, they will be emptied out, and one will be known as residing in the realm of the Vidyadhara King." As soon as this was proclaimed, the sentient beings in the hell realms regained their memory. Suffering subsided at that moment. Then Vajrasattva spoke these words: "Consider the realm to be an ocean of victorious ones. I will speak the innermost essence of the hearts of all Buddhas of the three times. Please bestow blessings from all directions. Obeisances to the Buddhas, the teachers! By this innermost essence of the victorious ones of the three times, may the ripening of the results of the five heinous crimes be purified. May the samaya of secret mantra be restored. What need is there to mention non-virtues? Whoever is afflicted by illness will surely be liberated from that suffering. At the time when contagious diseases arise, by visualizing oneself as the clear Yidam, reciting this essence will prevent it from spreading. Even if one is attacked by evil mantras or weapons, reciting this essence will turn it back upon oneself. If one recites this while seeking to travel on a path, one will surely be liberated from fearful enemies. At the time when one is harmed by obstructing spirits and fears, reciting this knowledge will destroy those spirits. Whichever sentient being desires a child, reciting this knowledge will ensure the lineage is maintained. Even if one is impoverished and destitute due to afflictions, reciting this essence will lead to the discovery of precious jewels. Whoever recites this for gathering a retinue, all three realms of existence will gather as a retinue. The four activities will surely be accomplished. I will speak the hundred-syllable mantra, which purifies all impairments and obscurations. This will fulfill all impairments and breakages."
