That is the fifth root. Then, as a sign that the mind of Samantabhadra (Tibetan: ཀུན་བྱེད་རྒྱལ་པོ།) manifested to teach the five great dharmas arising from the mind, he promised to teach the unborn bodhicitta and spoke these words: Emaho! Great Bodhisattva, listen! The bodhicitta that is beyond thought and inexpressible! Because it has become the lamp of teaching, its qualities are highly praised, Because it has become the essence of the Dharma, it is youthful Manjushri. Effortless, spontaneously perfect, it abides in the realm of bliss. It is the basis for the ocean of conduct, such as ethics, It shows the path of liberation in all its forms. The Sugata's mother, the common path for all, Without it, there is no arising; therefore, it is the supreme path of liberation. Subtle and difficult to know, it is the path of all; non-conceptual, beyond thought. It does not abide, does not fixate, is without elaboration, and is free from all thoughts. It cannot be reached by words, has no shape or color, and has no object of experience. It is difficult to point out and examine, and there is not even a particle to be spoken of. Those of the past who entered the wrong path, Were seized by the disease of attachment to meditation. Like the Teacher's words, if you see it as a path that uses the limits of words, It is like following the stream of thoughts, like chasing a mirage. The true path cannot be shown with words, If I show the true nature with words, I am mistaken. Pure and impure are non-dual, mixed and equal. It does not distinguish in any way, wisdom and ignorance. The unobstructed, clear lamp is free from all thoughts. Naturally unmoving, it is still and abides as the king of samadhi. Seeing directly, the unseen eye that sees directly. Therefore, it is called the eye of omniscience. In the vast essence without beginning or end, It does not take or leave, it abides as the king of equality. Mind and habit are non-dual, mixed and equal. All phenomena that appear, judged by grasping, Because they appear as one's own adornment, they are not abandoned or rejected. Without any thought, enjoy it with skillful means. The Dharma that is contrary to all and completely abandoned, Entering the pure path of the five poisons and the five heinous crimes, One attains the king of equality. All, including women, are not abandoned. Placing both history and meaning in the wisdom of valid cognition, Practicing the extreme of accomplishment by stabilizing the three samadhis, To deviate from the undisputed teachings is a mistake. Effortless, spontaneously perfect bliss
