You are also clear as self-originated wisdom, transcending the expression of one and different. What is liberated from one and different is the Dharmakaya and space. Son of lineage, why? Because these two are different. The naturally pure space, although it is the nature of color and form, and the naturally pure nature of the elements, is not separated from habits, and its essence is ignorant emptiness. The great Dharmakaya bindu, although it agrees with emptiness, is contrary to them, and therefore is liberated from one and different. The unliberated of liberation is mind and wisdom, liberation is the same basis. Mind is clear with concepts, and wisdom abides in non-conceptuality, therefore it is not liberated from the nature of activity. The liberation of the unliberated is bindu and object, the awareness of bindu is without cessation, and the object abides in objectless emptiness, so it is unliberated. Liberation is that all dharmas are not like being separate, abiding in emptiness without distinction, transcending the clear and transparent expression of each. Therefore, it is the liberation of the unliberated. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Proliferation, the one hundred and nineteenth chapter, explaining the meaning of the four extremes. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: Kye Kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara, please explain the meaning of sound. Thus he asked. The Teacher said: In all the tantras and teachings I have explained, how do sounds appear? The essence of sound and the cause of accomplishment, as well as the means of eliminating others and beneficial conditions, are summarized and explained in four aspects. The essence of sound is “འ་” (Tibetan,अ,a,啊) and “ཨ་” (Tibetan,आ,ā,阿). These two are the source of all things. How do they arise? These two arise without being two. These two are immutable, therefore it is “ས” (Tibetan,स,sa,萨). Between these two, wisdom is unceasing, naturally arising, therefore it is “ཧ” (Tibetan,ह,ha,哈). From this, wisdom arises, therefore “ཤ” (Tibetan,श,sha,夏) arises. These two are both vowels, and the two bodies that appear in this way arise as compassion, therefore it is “ཀ” (Tibetan,क,ka,嘎). Not departing from the nature of the sphere, and naturally abiding within, therefore it is “ཁ” (Tibetan,ख,kha,喀). These two are uninterrupted, therefore it is “ག” (Tibetan,ग,ga,伽). In these two non-dualities, everything appears, therefore it is “ང” (Tibetan,ङ,nga,昂). These two are the source of all things, therefore it is “ཙ” (Tibetan,च,ca,擦). Experiencing these two as non-dual, therefore it is “ཚ” (Tibetan,छ,cha,嚓). This is not ceased, held by compassion, and these two are inseparable, therefore it is “ཛ” (Tibetan,ज,ja,杂).

Because it is the place to go, it is ta'o. Because it is the end of the basic place, it is ba'o. If those two appear inseparably, it is the unadulterated knowable, which is nga'o. Because it becomes wisdom, it is nya'o. Because non-realization appears as mind, it is na'o. The inseparability of those two is the Dharmakaya, so it is pa'o. Because the method has no cessation, it is pha'o. Because it appears as a powerful body, it is ba'o. The compassion of those two is made up of the four bodies, which is ya'o. Because it is inseparable from compassion, it is ra'o. Everything arises and gathers from those two, so it is la'o. Because it appears as if realized and unrealized from those two, it is ṭa log and ḍa log pa'o. Therefore, 'a and a are the limits of sound. Accomplishing those two is: using two a's to purify and accomplish all letters. 'a accomplishes everything free from elaboration. When those two are connected, they become knowledge, accomplishing without interruption. Because it is connected with ha, it is great, accomplishing the uncreated. Because wisdom arises spontaneously, it is ultimate, accomplishing without birth and death. Ha and the subscript vowel sign are also connected with letters, so it is short, which is gathering. Dza is the beneficial condition for that. Including para ta sa ra, it is the accomplishment of proliferation. Sa and ta are the beneficial conditions for that. All otherness is the unique accomplishment. All self-nature is the accomplishment of the realm. Similarly, everything that arises from 'a and a has its own meaning aspect, so it is the accomplishment of each meaning aspect of a. That is established as the accomplisher of sound. Because the names of 'a and a of those are the same, eliminate the same aspects, and eliminate the different aspects through each door, thereby eliminating others. Through the magical ways of those, they become helpers in accomplishing their respective meanings, and because the qualities of the basis are universally accomplished, they become helpers of meaning, so sound is a beneficial condition. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Free from Elaboration, the chapter showing the meaning of sound, the one hundred and twentieth. Then, the Lord of Secrets again asked: Kye kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara! The tantras, agamas, and instructions that you have spoken, all the words have been explained as such, please tell us how to destroy the syllables? The Teacher replied: Vajradhara, listen well! All the meanings of the tantras, agamas, and instructions have been explained as above, and all situations are combined with vocative words.
