。 The greatness of the Dharmadhatu Buddha, with the great essence perfected in oneself, the greatness of the essence Buddha, with the five great means of determination, that itself is great because it is the Buddha, great because it is superior with the five stainless aspects, and great because everything is Buddha, there are five kinds of greatness. Thus it was said. Again, the Lord of Secrets asked: Kye Kye Bhagavan Vajradhara, how is the great manifest enlightenment great? After asking, the Teacher taught: The selfless body is the great teacher, self-aware wisdom is the great teaching, the unpainted mandala is great in its place, the five lifeless bodies are great in their retinue, and the spontaneously accomplished from the beginning is great in its time. Thus it was said. Vajrapani asked: How is the Dharmadhatu Buddha great? Thus he asked. Again, the Teacher taught: The seat where the Dharmakaya mandala resides, on the bindu of the pure realm, one has five characteristics, the unchanging Vajra realm, the enriching Ratna realm, the stainless Padma realm, the unobstructed teaching Karma realm, the un obscured clear and pervasive Akasha realm, the radiance of self-aware wisdom shines forth, the five vases of wisdom empowerment, without ceasing from the unborn realm, in that nature there is no gathering or scattering, the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, are the play of that, in the five dharmata one is primordially enlightened, the abode of the five wisdoms and the three kayas is superior to all, great because earth, water, fire, and wind are completely pure. Thus it was said. Vajrapani again asked: How is the great essence Buddha great? Thus he asked. The Teacher taught: The five great elements that are the vessel of the Nirmanakaya, because of the dharmata arising from oneself, not confused about karma, pacified by means, not clinging to the grasper and the grasped, and purified, great because of manifesting enlightenment in the essence nature. The appearance of the five skandhas is also the body of the Buddhas of the five families, the five bodies blazing with precious light, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning in oneself without searching, great because it is self-manifest wisdom. The appearance of seeing as the eight consciousnesses is also the eight great Bodhisattvas perfected in oneself, great because it is self-manifest and not other. The eight objects of consciousness are also the eight mother minds appearing in oneself, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning without searching, great is the essence because it is self-manifest wisdom. Arising from oneself

Being pure and self-manifesting, it is separate from objects because it is self-manifesting. In the great self-manifestation that is without objects, it is greater than all because it cannot be traversed. Because it is self-existing, it cannot be sought. It is great because it is spontaneously accomplished without seeking. Since self-nature is established within oneself, it is great because it is accomplished without effort or striving. In the meaning of realizing self-manifestation, it is great because there is no gathering or scattering. It is great because there is no practice for the unchanging. It is great because there is no object of focus on the path without traversing. All dharmas are self-nature, but those of lower capacity do not know this. Therefore, it is taught as the great self-nature. Thus he spoke. The Lord of Secrets again asked: How is it great because it is the Buddha? Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: This is how it is established: It is great as an example, surpassing all symbolic expressions of the four symbols. It is great in meaning because the three kayas are inseparable. It is great as a sign because the appearance of wisdom is clear like a rainbow in water. The four symbols are definitely examples. The inseparability of the three kayas is definitely the meaning. The lamp of wisdom is definitely the sign. Therefore, it is great by the three certainties. First, it is determined by the gathering of the teacher and others, and it is great by the five reasons. Thus he spoke. Vajrapani again asked: How is it great because everything is Buddha? Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: In the self-aware, unchanging Dharmakaya, it is beyond thought because there is no object to grasp. It is particularly excellent because there is nothing to meditate on. In the insubstantial and transparent Dharmakaya, it is particularly excellent in non-duality because there is no object to focus on. In the insubstantial and peaceful awareness, there is no insubstantial characteristic of elaboration. The great radiance of self is superior and great. In the great non-dual self-aware Dharmakaya, it is superior and great because there is nothing to represent it. In the self-born wisdom of the Dharmakaya, there is no compoundedness because there are no causes or conditions. It is superior and great because there is no change. Because self-awareness is free from the five defilements, everything is primordially enlightened. Thus he spoke. In the Tantra of the Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaboration, the ninth chapter is on the superiority of the five excellences over the eight vehicles. Then the Lord of Secrets again asked: Alas, O Blessed Vajradhara! The distinctions of the nine vehicles are taught in accordance with the objects to be tamed. What are its errors and obscurations? Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajradhara, listen well! The errors and obscurations of the nine vehicles
