Because it is used, there is nothing to use. The essence is free from elaboration, while the potential unceasingly manifests in various ways. That also manifests dependent on the object. Self-arising, self-liberating is conduct, although various object-conditions arise, because of being without grasping, it is naturally liberated in its own place, there is nothing to use, it is just a natural emanation. The absence of use is inseparable from the meaning, uninterrupted and without attachment is the supreme conduct. Doubts about conduct are thereby cut off. How to dispel the obstacles to experience? The self-born Dharmakaya is immutable, it is beyond the limits of experience. For the time being, because beings are not accustomed, they cling to the clear truth, the Dharmakaya is clear, and permanence diminishes. Therefore, experience arises from strength, there is no need for special clinging to experience, like clouds clearing and the sun appearing. Doubts about experience are thereby cut off. How to dispel the obstacles to the fruit? The fruit, the self-born Dharmakaya, if it has been there from the beginning, there is no need to search. Suddenly assembled things will eventually perish. The Dharmakaya, which has been self-born from the beginning, is obscured by conceptual thoughts because it does not recognize its own nature. Just recognizing that point, the first self-born nature is encountered, realization is liberated and manifested, like a wandering prince being brought back to the throne, like grasping one's own position. Doubts about the fruit are thereby cut off. The self-born awareness Dharmakaya, because it has not established any essence, cuts off doubts about signs and fabrications. Because of the clear and uninterrupted manifestation, it cuts off doubts about emptiness and quiescence. Because the potential appears as light, it cuts off doubts about mere awareness. Because various lights manifest, it cuts off doubts about non-conceptual blankness. Because there is no clinging to anything, it is free from unconscious mental activity. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Free from Elaboration, the eighty-eighth chapter called "Cutting Off Doubts and Obstacles." Then, again, the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani) asked: "Kye! Kye! Blessed Vajradhara, what is its fruit like?" Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: "Vajradhara, listen well! The fruit is the manifestation of view, the nature of that is, the Dharmata is clear without inside or outside, awareness pervades without inside or outside. Non-dual Dharmakaya Vajra body, abides in a self-luminous, non-grasping state. From that, wisdom is uninterrupted, self-knowing wisdom is the Sambhogakaya. The nature of the object is the five vases of the wisdom eye, appearing but without substance.

Like a rainbow in the sky, Within it, the five emanated bodies are clear. Clear yet non-conceptual, like a lamp in a vase, The three bodies are internally clear, abiding without separation or union. Awareness, self-appearing and clear, is thoroughly transparent, The two bodies do not appear in the realm. Qualities are unceasing, without separation or union. The two bodies are unceasing, existing yet non-existent. The Dharmakaya is unchanging, non-existent yet existent, Like the essence of a castle and its container, and the reflection in a mirror. Appearing yet without inherent nature, therefore free from the fault of characteristics. Not appearing yet without inherent nature, therefore transcending the fault of nihilistic emptiness. Liberated from the four extremes, samsara is bound by karma. In essence, unchanging, awareness holds its own ground. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity Beyond Elaboration, the chapter on how the fruit arises, the forty-ninth chapter. Then again, the Lord of Secrets asked: Please speak about the nature, definition, distinctions, and examples of the Yanas. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: Vajra Holder, listen well! The nature of the Yana is wisdom and compassion. The greatness or smallness of these two determines the greatness or smallness of the Yana. The definition of Yana is to uplift and to move. Although the distinctions are many, when condensed, there are no more than two. They are the Characteristic Yana, which takes cause, condition, and path as its characteristics, and the Secret Mantra Yana, which takes the fruit as its path. A swimmer and a boat are examples of the Characteristic Yana. A bridge and the earth are examples of the Secret Mantra Yana. Thus it was said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity Beyond Elaboration, the chapter on briefly explaining the meaning of the Yanas, the seventieth chapter. Then again, the Lord of Secrets asked: O, O, Bhagavan Vajradhara, Please speak about the view, meditation, and conduct of each system, And the meaning of the fruit. Their nature, definition, and distinctions, And corresponding examples, please speak. Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: The nature of the view should be known from the distinctions of each system. The definitive meaning of view, the nature of self-aware wisdom, is unbiased wisdom. The definition is that it is called view because it is the ultimate conclusion of the correct object of knowledge, the philosophical tenets. The distinctions are two: the correct view and the incorrect view. The correct view is Atiyoga. The incorrect view is Anuyoga and below. The examples of view are two: the correct example is like a mirror and appearances. The incorrect examples are eight.
