Appearance is clear and radiant! Abiding on the seat is the appearance of wisdom. The bindu of great wisdom is self-illuminating without interruption. The essence of wisdom abides in awareness, and wisdom is clear in awareness. The spontaneously accomplished bindu destroys characteristics and discursive thoughts. Thus, it abides without change, and there is no other appearance than self-appearance. This is the spontaneously accomplished bindu. If the three appearances in terms of meaning are shown in combination: The visible, the naturally pure sky, is the self-sound of the pure sky. Its essence is pure, and the seeing, the water crystal lamp, is the original sound of the pure Dharma-nature. The appearance of awareness arising in the realm is the radiant sound of pure wisdom. Alas! The self-sound of the pure sky is like the night sky. The original sound of the pure Dharma-nature is like the dawn sky. The radiant sound of great wisdom is like the sun rising in the sky. The king abiding on the seat is the original purity of awareness in the unchanging state of the expanse, free from elaboration. It is placed without moving from that. Because the three channels through which the wind of wisdom flows exist from the gate of the Lord of Death and Mara, these three are subdued. There is no end to the thought of the Thus-Gone One, because it does not abide in characteristics. The eyes gaze into the center of the sky, and the doors of the channels and winds are closed. The samadhi of the Bodhisattva abides between the Buddha and sentient beings, so the eyes gaze into the intermediate space. The neck is slightly bent, and the chin is placed on the shoulder. The flow of the three channels of wind is cut off. The meditation and mind-holding of gods and humans have more characteristics, so it is more difficult than the former two. The eyes look at the ground. That is, the neck is slightly bent, and the chin is almost touching the chest. This is the method of the king sitting on the seat and being placed on the seat. Therefore, awareness is like a king, holding its own ground. The minister is the mind. Because the power of awareness is not lost on the wind, it does not move with discursive thoughts, but is clear in non-discursive thought. For example, when a minister is imprisoned, there is no one to advise or act. Breath exists without separation from the body, and awareness has a horse-like minister. It is like being imprisoned, having the wind of discursive thoughts but unable to move. The five senses are like subjects, and they are the ones who act.

Ah! At that time, it is clear and without conceptualization. That is like subduing the people. Alas! A son of noble lineage should learn the great essence of pure self-nature. The sky of pure self-nature and the sky of pure dharmata, the three awarenesses free from conceptualization, are inseparable, empty, and non-conceptual, called the unconditioned state. The clarity of self-awareness and primordial wisdom, and the arising of the four elements as sounds, the unceasing sound of primordial wisdom of self-nature, appear clearly but have no self-nature. If there is no emptiness, there is self-nature. The meaning of the inseparable great essence is, in short, self-awareness and primordial wisdom. The measure of familiarity is that knowledge is not influenced by conditions, conceptualization is cut off, and characteristics are suppressed. Signs of heat arise involuntarily. The conditioned great realm transforms. Prophecies occur in sequence. From the guru, yidam, and dakini, relying on the sound of objects and arising, it will surely arise in the continuum. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaboration, the chapter on the intention of showing that there is meditation and the chapter on extensively showing the means of meditation, is the fifty-ninth chapter. Alas! Alas! Blessed Vajradhara, the boundary of whether there is meditation or not, if it is wisdom and union, that is, meditating on one's own nature, please explain it well without error. Thus he asked. The Teacher said: Meditating on one's own nature is one's own awareness, the Dharmakaya, realized through the seven introductions, when it is firmly established in the heart, and that meaning becomes clear in the continuum, meditation is one's own nature. If awareness is realized as the Dharmakaya, the three kayas are spontaneously accomplished, and the five wisdoms are also spontaneously accomplished. From that self-aware Dharmakaya, if conceptualization becomes a condition for external objects, and confused conceptualization arises, then practice the conduct like an instruction. From the aspect of the original abiding, it is the basis. Realizing that is the view. That clarity is merely called meditation. Constantly practicing it is conduct. Revealing it is shown as the manifest result. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaboration, the chapter on showing meditation as one's own nature is the sixtieth chapter. Alas! Alas! Blessed Vajradhara, showing whether there is meditation or not, and meditating on meditation as one's own nature
