This is established from the Great Tika of Thrulshyi Menngak. The meaning is the great self-originated wisdom, therefore, it has never changed in the three times, past, present, and future. It is the great breakthrough view of non-change. That is the Great Tika of the suchness of wisdom after delusion has ceased. That is the peg of immutability driven in through the door of signs. The Great Tika of scripture unites with the meaning. The great self is based on the Tika of suchness. Having realized its meaning, there is no need to meditate, it is a quality. That also abides in its own nature, so there is no separation. Object and subject, what is to be meditated on and the meditator, things and characteristics, are not focused on. For example, like a bee breaking a petal at Garshyapaṇa. The meaning of the nature of reality cannot be realized in an ordinary way, therefore, ordinary people cannot understand it, it must be realized as before, so distraction is a fault. Once it is definitely realized, there is no distraction, that is a quality. Non-distraction means that even when sitting, one is only sitting in the state of the self-appearance of the nature of reality without moving. Even when walking, one is in the self-sound of wisdom, just walking with the self-nature uninterrupted, like a lamp or the sun walking with self-appearance. Even when sleeping, in the clear awareness that has not moved from oneself, the power merges into the base, and the self-nature merges into the base. When characteristics are liberated in their own place, they become a great union with meaning. Even when rising, one rises from the unmoved state. Awareness arises spontaneously, and the self-nature is clear without interruption. Alas! Son of lineage, keep it well in mind! No matter which of the four activities you engage in, you will not go beyond your own radiance, and you will not move from the state of the nature of reality. For example, no matter where a bird flies, it does not go beyond the sky; no matter where a fish swims, it does not go beyond the water; no matter where a person goes, he does not go beyond the earth. The realization of a yogi does not move from the state. Son of lineage, what is to be meditated upon is the perfectly complete Buddha. That meaning is not elsewhere, but is the self-knowing Dharmakaya. All that arises is self-arising, the awareness Dharmakaya is emptiness and uninterrupted, and that itself is inseparable, and the wisdom that knows it in that way is uninterrupted, and there is no obstruction to it, and it arises with five characteristics. Those five arise as five wisdoms. The five wisdoms arise as five lights. The five lights arise as five families. The five families arise as five kayas. The five kayas

May the five mothers never cease! In the presence of the father and mother, may the heroes and heroines never cease! From the heroines, may the realms arise! From the heroes, may the faculties and consciousness arise! Therefore, seal the appearances with the intention of self-arising awareness, so that all is the wisdom of self-appearance, and there is no conceptual thought of other-appearance! At the time of cessation, the intention of self-liberation of signs merges into the basis of potential. The five realms are liberated within the five gates. The five gates are liberated within the heroes and heroines. The heroes and heroines are liberated within the five families of father and mother. That also liberates into the five wisdoms. The five wisdoms also liberate into the five characteristics of awareness. The five characteristics liberate into awareness, ungrasping and self-illuminating. The essential instruction of the condensed faculties is 'arising, mother, la'. It is absorbed into the sphere of wisdom. Having liberated in this way, not moving from its nature is like knowledge contained in a vase. In the vase of the nature of reality, the dharmakaya, indivisible and transparent, the wisdom of self-awareness is clear like a lamp unmoved by the wind. The essential instruction of knowledge entering the vase! Ignorance, sleep, and so on, attain the meaning of wisdom, which is suchness itself. Everything arises from itself. Appearance appears from itself. Clarity is clear from itself. Being pure and liberated, it is liberated within its own nature. Therefore, it is the great and perfect wisdom! That is the appearance of intrinsic nature, and there is no other appearance besides self-appearance. Although clouds and vapors arise, they arise from the sky. They appear within the nature of the sky. They abide within the nature of the sky. They are purified within the nature of the sky. They are liberated within the nature of the sky. So it is said. From the Tantra of Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Proliferation, it is taught to combine meditation and non-meditation with the mind. For those of middling intelligence, the continuous samadhi with reasons is taught, which is the fifty-eighth chapter. Then, the Lord of Secrets asked again: "Kye kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara! Please explain what is to be meditated upon!" Having asked this, the Teacher replied: "Vajradhara, listen without distraction! For those of weak intelligence, meditation is taught. If you do not understand what is not to be meditated upon, you will not realize non-attention and effortless action. The meaning of continuous samadhi will not be clear. If you do not understand what is to be meditated upon, there will be no difference between you and ordinary people. Ordinary self-streams will go astray. By knowing the meaning of meditating on non-meditation, you will attain the state of the sole Buddha."
