Also, for the Dharma-nature like the sky, the awareness like crystal is clear. Compassion like sunlight arises. For the six types of beings like patients, with ignorance like darkness, the diseases of the three poisons are eliminated. Thus it is said. Again, the Lord of Secrets asked: "Kye kye, Bhagavan, Protector, Vajra Amitabha, how is the fruition Sambhogakaya perfected from the Dharmakaya, the great ground appearance?" Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: "The appearance of the two bodies of compassion is merely a manifestation to those to be tamed. The body of wisdom appears from oneself. The body with characteristics does not appear. In the great self-aware wisdom, there is no conceptual thought of other appearances with characteristics." Again, the Lord of Secrets asked: "Kye kye, Teacher, great compassionate one, please speak of the five wisdom bodies." Thus he asked. The Teacher replied: "From the essence of one awareness, since all arises and appears, it is also called the Great All-Appearing. Since the qualities of self-awareness are unceasing, it is said to be the Great Self-Arisen. Because it possesses the power of compassion, it is Amitabha. Because wisdom is unobstructed, it is Amoghasiddhi. Because that itself is unchanging, it is Akshobhya. Emptiness and awareness are non-dual, and unobstructed wisdom is the essence of the five wisdom bodies. The distinctions are made from the perspective of qualities. The definitive word for wisdom is that, since knowledge is unceasing, it is the body of wisdom. Or, since wisdom is unceasing in oneself, and since it appears as a body to those to be tamed, it is also thus named." Again, the Lord of Secrets asked: "What is the reason why the body does not appear in oneself?" Thus he asked. "Kye, Lord of Secrets, listen well! One's own awareness is without substance, primordially pure, and a great expanse. The meaning of this is explained in detail: Because there is no other appearance, it is the basis of self-nature. Because the form body has no characteristics, awareness is without substance. Because the two eyes are pure, one possesses the eye of wisdom, primordially pure expanse. Because there is nothing else above that, it is said to be great." Thus it was said. From the Tantra of the Great Clarity of Meaning Beyond Elaboration, the chapter on showing that the two bodies of compassion and form arise from the Dharmakaya, and showing that in the Dharmakaya itself, there are no two bodies from the self-appearance of awareness, is the twenty-fifth. Then again, the Lord of Secrets asked: "Kye kye, Bhagavan Vajradhara, to whom does 'those to be tamed' refer? How does the manner of appearing as a body appear?" Thus he asked.
