降下了有三层墙壁的冰雹。他们对这些罪恶感到后悔，生起了修法的念头，按照喇嘛雍敦的吩咐，去了一位名叫绒敦拉嘎的大圆满修行者那里请法。他说：“我的殊胜法大圆满，根是现成，顶是获得，果是成熟。白天修就白天成佛，晚上修就晚上成佛。有缘分有善根的人不用修也能通过听闻而解脱，这是上等根器的法缘，所以给你。”赐予灌顶和诀窍后，他心想：“我当初用咒术，十四天就出现了大征兆，冰雹七天就够了。现在比咒术和冰雹还容易的法，白天修就白天成佛，晚上修就晚上成佛，有缘分有善根的人不用修，能遇到这样的法，看来我也是个有缘分的人。”这样想着，不修行只是睡觉，结果法和人就成了两回事。过了几天，喇嘛说：“看来你说自己是个罪大恶极的人是真的。我说的法的豪语也稍微过头了。现在看来我无法让你正直了。现在你去洛扎卓沃隆（Lhodrak Khrodung，是不丹境内的一个地名）的寺庙，那里有印度成就者那若巴的亲传弟子，圣者译师之王玛尔巴罗扎瓦，是新密咒的成就者，是世间无与伦比的人。你和他前世有缘，所以去那里吧。”在那里，仅仅听到译师玛尔巴的名字，心中就生起无法言说的喜悦，身上汗毛竖立的快乐，眼泪止不住的无限虔诚。心想如果能见到喇嘛，见到他的面容就好了，于是就去了。喇嘛夫妇做了很多特别的梦，认为尊者要来了，于是玛尔巴也假装在整理羊毛，在山谷路口迎接他。在那里，他首先遇到了放牧的儿子达玛多德，然后走在路上遇到了正在整理羊毛的喇嘛玛尔巴。一见到他的面容，就沉浸在无法言说的喜悦和无法想象的快乐中，今生的景象消失了片刻。当时他并不知道那就是喇嘛，是来拜见玛尔巴的人。

Hailstones with three layers of walls fell. Repenting of these sins, they developed the thought of practicing Dharma, and according to the instructions of Lama Yungton, they went to a Dzogchen practitioner named Rongton Lhaga to request Dharma. He said, "My supreme Dharma, the Great Perfection, its root is spontaneous, its peak is attainment, and its fruit is maturation. If you meditate during the day, you will attain enlightenment during the day; if you meditate at night, you will attain enlightenment at night. Those with good fortune and karma will be liberated by hearing without needing to meditate. This is the Dharma fortune of those with the highest faculties, so I will give it to you." After bestowing empowerment and instructions, he thought, "When I first used magic, great signs appeared in fourteen days, and hailstones were enough in seven days. Now, a Dharma that is even easier than magic and hailstones, if you meditate during the day, you will attain enlightenment during the day; if you meditate at night, you will attain enlightenment at night; those with good fortune and karma do not need to meditate. To encounter such a Dharma, it seems that I am also a person with good fortune." Thinking this, he did not meditate but only slept, and as a result, Dharma and the person became separate. After a few days, the Lama said, "It seems that it is true that you say you are a great sinner. My boast about the Dharma was also a bit too much. Now it seems that I cannot make you upright. Now you should go to the monastery called Lhodrak Khrodung in Lhodrak (southern Bhutan), where there is a direct disciple of the Indian Siddha Naropa, the noble king of translators Marpa Lotsawa, a Siddha of the New Tantras, who is unparalleled in the three realms. You have a karmic connection with him from a previous life, so go there." There, just hearing the name of the translator Marpa, immeasurable joy arose in his mind, happiness that made all the hairs on his body stand on end, and limitless devotion that brought tears to his eyes. Thinking that if he could meet the Lama and see his face, he went. The Lama and his consort had many special dreams, thinking that the venerable one was coming, so Marpa also pretended to be sorting wool, and went to meet him at the entrance of the valley. There, he first met his son Dharma Dode, who was herding livestock, and then on the road he met Lama Marpa, who was sorting wool. As soon as he saw his face, he was immersed in unspeakable joy and unimaginable happiness, and the appearance of this life disappeared for a moment. At that time, he did not know that it was the Lama, the person who came to visit Marpa.

I didn't intentionally send you to accumulate sins. What sins have you committed?' I explained the reasons in detail. The Lama said, 'Well, in any case, offering body, speech, and mind is good.
