Since it is not an establishment, it does not possess even one of the four characteristics. Furthermore, since there is no accomplishment of the four qualities and abandonment of the seven attachments, etc., therefore, for these, there is no meaning of having reached the other shore. For example, just as the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas meditating on ugliness is not the Great Vehicle's meditation Paramita. These wise individuals can be understood if shown through examples, therefore, examples should be spoken. For example, a skilled doctor, in order to pacify the diseases of sentient beings, when making a precious mercury compound, first purifies the mercury itself through rubbing, washing, and boiling, and after it becomes free from poison, mixes it with various medicines, thereby eliminating all the different diseases of sentient beings. Similarly, Bodhisattvas also generate the precious Bodhicitta in their own minds, which is the sole cause of eliminating all the downfalls of Samsara and Nirvana. Because in the state of ordinary beings, they possess the poison of self-desire, they become accustomed to the profound emptiness, and by realizing the Dharmata of the Path of Seeing, they understand the equality of all Dharmas, thereby becoming pure by being free from all the stains of self-desire. After that, combining all the ocean-like Bodhisattva conduct with the way of not conceptually grasping the three spheres, through the extraordinary diligence of abandoning one's own benefit, they heal all the diseases of sentient beings' afflictive and cognitive obscurations. Furthermore, the Sutra spoken in the example of polishing a jewel in the Sutra Requested by Dharani Empowerment King also indicates only this order of the path. Among them, the first two are easy to understand, but for the latter situation, the talk of the irreversible wheel is the path of the union of skillful means, great compassion, and wisdom emptiness, which is explained in the Sutra Collection Commentary and other treatises. The complete purification of the three spheres refers to the conduct of the Bodhisattvas such as generosity, because they are practiced in the way of not focusing on the three spheres. On this, the noble Nagarjuna quoted this scripture in the Sutra Collection, and ultimately established the One Vehicle. First, by generating aversion to Samsara through impermanence and suffering, etc., one then enters the profound and vast Great Vehicle, thus it is proclaimed.

Thus, it is argued that (the Hinayana) is merely a stepping stone to one's own Mahayana path. The son of the Conqueror, Asanga, in his commentary on the Uttaratantra, quotes this teaching and says that the continuum of the Bodhisattva should be trained in this way in stages, thus establishing that the essence of what is to be trained is completely pure, thereby serving as proof of the Tathagatagarbha. Whichever of these two cases is the same: in the first stage, the mind is subdued by impermanence, suffering, etc.; in the second stage, relying on the teachings of the three doors of liberation, the Dharma nature of profound view is manifested; in the third stage, relying on the teachings of the irreversible wheel and the teachings of the three wheels of purity, the stages of the path of learning the great conduct of the Bodhisattva, just as both of these chariot-makers advocate, therefore, if one can combine the immaculate treatises of the two supreme ornaments of the world without contradiction and integrate them completely into the practice of one person, then one is called a wise person. If one is attached to sectarian bias and indulges in disputes, it will lead to the great evil karma of abandoning the Dharma, and no amount of hearing will liberate the continuum. In short, the main goal pursued by the Mahayana path is to place all sentient beings, as boundless as the sky, in the unsurpassed state of perfect and complete enlightenment, therefore, the roots of virtue of the Bodhisattvas are inexhaustible and boundless. As the Bhadracaryapranidhana says: "As far as the realm of space extends, sentient beings are endless, and karma and afflictions are endless, so is my aspiration endless." If this is not the case, but it is thought that what the Mahayana path seeks is only to temporarily realize the meaning of profound emptiness, and ultimately only to obtain the Buddhahood that is liberated from the bonds of the two obscurations of one's own continuum, then the roots of virtue of the Bodhisattvas will also be exhausted thereby. For example, like obtaining Nirvana without remainder in the Hinayana path. Such explanations, for the holy ones, there is no need to prove again what has already been accomplished. But for some inferior ones who are similar to oneself, when first generating the mind, seeing the qualities of the Buddha
