I (referring to the author or lineage master) shall teach the Mother (Prajnaparamita). Thus it is said. Second, regarding activities, there are three: establishing the basis for the path, the path itself, and the result of the path. First, establishing the basis for the path: This refers to establishing beings in peaceful activities. Specifically, for beings in the lower realms, by displaying miraculous powers and teaching the Dharma when they develop faith, liberating them from those unfortunate rebirths and establishing them in the basis of gods and humans. For beings in the higher realms, those intoxicated by attachment to the pleasures of the desire realm gods, making them see palaces engulfed in flames, thereby revealing the truth of impermanence of conditioned phenomena, etc. For beings bound by the views of the Brahma gods of the higher realms, by teaching the doctrine of the emptiness of all phenomena, freeing them from wrong views. For humans, guiding them to take refuge and uphold the precepts, thereby making their minds suitable vessels. Second, establishing them on the path, there are four: establishing them on the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, the path of seeing, and the path of meditation. First, establishing them on the path of accumulation has five aspects. First, the four means of gathering disciples: generosity, kind speech, beneficial action, and consistency, as the teacher Ashvaghosa said in the "Stages of Cultivating Relative Bodhicitta": "With the beckoning hand of generosity, summon them well, speak to them with pleasant words, subdue them with beneficial actions, and be sure to establish a profound common goal." And as it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: "The first is the beginning of making them vessels, the second is to make them develop faith, the third is to make them practice, the fourth is to make them completely purified." Thus it is said. Second, through hearing and contemplating, making them understand what to accept and reject, thereby establishing them in the understanding of the laws of conditioned and purified phenomena. Third, for the benefit of sentient beings, establishing them in the practice of immeasurable love, etc. Fourth, mainly for their own benefit, establishing them in the practice of the six paramitas. Fifth, for the benefit of both oneself and others, establishing them in the ten virtuous actions that lead to enlightenment. Second, establishing them on the path of preparation: mainly through the wisdom born of worldly meditation, enabling them to realize and become accustomed to the emptiness of the inherent nature of all phenomena. Third, establishing them on the path of seeing: On the path of seeing, realizing the meaning of the all-pervasive nature of reality where the duality of grasper and grasped is exhausted, thereby establishing them on the first bhumi. Fourth, establishing them on the path of meditation has six aspects: establishing them between the second and fifth bhumis, as well as the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth bhumis. First, establishing them between the second and fifth bhumis, enabling them to realize that all phenomena are merely nominal designations.

Oh! Secondly, the dharmas with the appearance of the two aspects of grasper and grasped are established on the sixth ground. Thirdly, the sentient beings' continua are completely matured into being able to abandon obscurations and generate antidotes, and this is established on the seventh ground. Fourthly, the establishment on the eighth ground is divided into two: realization and abandonment. The first is the path of a bodhisattva who is certain not to fall into the Hearer or Solitary Realizer paths. The second is the reversal of manifest clinging to dharmas as grasper and grasped. Fifthly, the ability to perform the deeds of a manifestation body as if having attained enlightenment, even without having attained enlightenment, is established on the ninth ground. Sixthly, the establishment on the tenth ground is divided into three: immediately after attaining the tenth ground, one lifetime away from buddhahood, and the last existence. The first is the purification of the vessel and essence realms in which oneself attains buddhahood. Immediately upon attaining the tenth ground, the purification of the realm through empowerment is divided into two: accomplishing activities through appearance and obtaining empowerment through offerings. The first is accomplishing activities through appearance, which is further divided into three: the appearance of the purification of the vessel world, the appearance of the purification of the essence world, and the accomplishment of activities. The first is the appearance of the purification of the vessel world: immediately upon attaining the tenth ground, at the time of obtaining what is called the empowerment inseparable from the omniscient wisdom of concentration, immediately upon obtaining it, a lotus jewel throne with the expanse of ten hundred thousand kotis of three thousand great thousand worlds, adorned with many lotus jewels, and its retinue, and lotuses equal to the number of dust particles of ten hundred thousand kotis of three thousand great thousand worlds, appear to be filled. The second is the appearance of the purification of the essence world: oneself sits on that throne, fitting and becoming a conducive condition, and the lotuses of the retinue are filled with bodhisattvas from the ninth ground downwards, surrounding it. The third is the accomplishment of activities: from the two soles of the feet, the two kneecaps, the navel, the two sides, and the two palms of that bodhisattva, countless rays of light, ten hundred thousand kotis each, emanate, and in sequence, illuminate all the places of pretas, hells, animals, humans, gods, and asuras in the ten directions, pacifying sufferings. From the two shoulders, the two back necks, and the face, countless rays of light, ten hundred thousand kotis each, emanate, and in sequence illuminate the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and the three places from the generation of the first thought of enlightenment up to the ninth ground in the ten directions, and the dharma.
