Those beings who are without beginning, although their continuums are different, are merely gathered together in one place, but their self-natures are not the same as each other. For the continuum of a yogi, there is no contradiction in the emanation being of the same self-nature as him. There are two kinds of mandalas of deities: in some, mostly from other continuums, they are shown in other ways, as it is said in the mandala of the 'Glorious Condensed One' for taming beings. In some, mostly from the continuum of the yogi, they are emanated, like the deities in the mandalas of the 'Glorious Guhyasamaja', 'Hevajra', and 'Heruka'. For beings with sharp faculties, whether meditating on the same self-nature, or through that, in an instant, perfecting the body of Vajradhara, whether alone or with the mandala, whether with wisdom or without wisdom, one should become accustomed. Also, one should not think that this is becoming accustomed to the nature of the bodhicitta of the Blessed One Vajrasattva. Because this Blessed One Bodhi Vajrasattva is the vajra, the Tathagata, the essence of wisdom and means and knowledge, with the nature of desire and so on, holding the conventional forms of the five families of Tathagatas and consorts and so on, for the sake of purifying the realm of beings who have abandoned afflictions, therefore, he thus guides those to be tamed onto the correct path, and those who are endowed with fortune are joined to Suchness, thus it is established. The above is the oral instruction. Therefore, just like the deities such as Vajrasattva, all dharmas should also be realized as being without self-nature through the oral instruction of the guru. Therefore, by meditating on Vajrasattva and so on in this order, one will realize that all dharmas are without self-nature. Knowing that, by meditating on Vajrasattva and so on, the siddhi of Mahamudra will arise, thus the Blessed One has said. Here, considering this, following the inclinations of the minds of those to be tamed, therefore, in the 'Great Samaya Suchness Tantra' it is said: 'This is the self-nature of all, gathering all the secret essences, gathering all the Vajra Goddesses, where all the dancers dance.' Here, there are very many excellent things that cannot be fully expressed, because of the fear of length, it has not been written. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Twelfth Nyema: Thus, the state of past existence is the path of the Bodhisattva assembly. Here, accumulating merit through generosity and so forth, and being in accordance with previous virtues and non-virtues, and so forth. The state of practice approaching the time of death is the stage of aspiring conduct, because it is the nature of practice that ascertains that very reality. After that, the cessation of past existence, the practice of the intermediate state, from the moment of the arising of the state until the moment of the cessation of whatever has ceased, is the state of the uninterrupted path of the Joyful Ground. After that, the state of entering the womb after the form of the intermediate state has ceased as it is, is to be known as the state of the ten grounds after the uninterrupted path of the Bodhisattvas has ceased, and all these grounds are with obscurations. The state of birth is the state of Buddhahood, the experience of the complete fruition is nearly equal, because of the separate experience of the objects of all the faculties of the place of birth. Such a state of arising is the emanation body, the state of manifesting the gods. Therein, there are ten states in the womb: the state of semen, the state of viscous fluid, the state of coagulation, the state of hardening, the state conforming to form, the state conforming to connection, the state conforming to nature, the state conforming to action, the state conforming to fruition, and the state of completion. There are three aspects: the completion of the faculties, the completion of the signs and marks, and the completion of water and field. These should be understood as approximate symbols conforming to the first ground, the Joyful Ground, and so forth. Thus, in each of those places, especially cultivating aspiration, that is, here, inviting the Tathagata from the rays of light of the seed syllable in one's own heart, offerings and so forth are the ground of the accumulation of merit. After that, entering into emptiness is the practice of... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
