Sixth, regarding the practice of Guhyapati (another name for Vajrapani, the Lord of Secrets) and the offering of Tormas (food offerings), which had been interrupted before, the Lama said that it was an auspicious connection that had not taken effect immediately, according to the Lama's instructions. After that, the great entourage continuously performed self-entry and practice. Later, on the way to U-Tsang (referring to the central Tibetan region), together with many travelers from Do-med (referring to the Amdo region of Tibet), he traveled with two uncles. In Drigung, he heard profound teachings from Dharma Raja, as well as almost all of the Drigung Kagyu teachings. Afterwards, in Dewachen (Sukhavati, the Pure Land of Bliss), he made a thorough study of Prajna (wisdom), and then in Tshal, he learned the medical aspects including the eight branches, becoming proficient in all aspects including theory, oral instructions, and practice. Later, during his illness, even when seventeen or eighteen doctors were gathered, he could ask clearly which medicine should be used for which disease, the formulation of medicines, and the differences between hot and cold, and then we would practice it. It is said that all the famous doctors now say that in the snowy region (referring to Tibet) there is no one more proficient in medicine than Dharma Raja Rinpoche, and we went to him to ask about medicine formulations, and heard many explanations about the classification of medicines, so compared to studying for many years before, we had greater inspiration. Afterwards, he completed his study of Prajna in Dewachen. He also studied many other scriptures. When he was debating Prajna in U-Tsang, he was praised as the most skilled in Prajna in the snowy region, proficient in scriptures, knowledgeable in Chinese and Tibetan texts, and an excellent teacher. Later, in Nyangto and other places, together with Nyawon Kunga Pal and Reddawa, he studied the commentaries and explanations of the Seven Treatises on Valid Cognition (Hetuvidya), becoming an unparalleled scholar. From Reddawa, he heard almost all of the teachings and studies on Madhyamaka (the Middle Way) in the snowy region, and everyone agreed that he fully understood all the words and meanings. In addition, he also completed his study of Vinaya (discipline) and Abhidharma (Buddhist metaphysics) in Kyormolung. Furthermore, in various monasteries, in front of the abbots, he heard all the Sutras (discourses), as well as the commentaries and treatises on these Sutras, and fully understood them. When he was debating the four difficulties, the scholars said that among those who had debated the four difficulties in Tibet, there was no one more outstanding than him. Then, in Densa Til, starting from the teachings of Dezhin Shekpa Pagmo Drupa, including the discussions of previous Lamas, the Six Dharmas of Naropa and many other instructions, as well as seed syllables and mantras: ག (Tibetan, Devanagari, ka, ka, ka) ད (Tibetan, Devanagari, da, da, da) མ (Tibetan, Devanagari, ma, ma, ma) ར (Tibetan, Devanagari, ra, ra, ra) ཡ (Tibetan, Devanagari, ya, ya, ya) ཨཱཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari, āḥ, ah, Ah!) (Tibetan, Devanagari, hūṃ, Hum, Hum!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thereafter, all the teachings, in short, all the Dharma cycles of the Dwags po bka' brgyud (Dwags po bka' brgyud, Kagyu School), were heard from Kyabjangba (Spyan snga grags byang ba) and taken to heart. Thus, he mastered the realization of the De pa tradition. In 'Ol kha and other places, he heard the ka lA pa and tsan dra pa from Bo dong pa sgra pa nam bzang, and although he was proficient, he did not actually accept them. Furthermore, he listened to the treatises on poetics such as the Mirror Treatise (me long ma) from the same master and diligently studied them, becoming extremely proficient. At that time, he composed poems praising Saraswati (dbyangs can ma), such as 'On the lotus petal, the bee's eyes are lively,' which was known as 'Revealing the beauty of ornamentation'. The year after that, when Kyabjangba passed away, the officials requested him to write a biography, so he composed The Mountain of Merit (rtogs brjod lhun po), which was known as 'There is no poetry better than this.' Later, due to practicing Saraswati, from the time he saw her face in Sangpu (gsang phu), she always protected him, so the activities of teaching, debating, and writing flourished greatly. In particular, the songs of yoga and the Dharma protectors of Anuttarayoga that he himself composed, as well as dohas, were melodious and extremely pleasing, far surpassing other works. Especially the large songs of yoga and so on, reached the ultimate in majesty. Red mda' pa urged him to teach and preach, so he taught and preached in Dewachen (bde ba can) and other places for about seven years. He compiled about ten treatises, and according to their respective views, he explained each treatise in conjunction with two or three commentaries many times. Especially before going to Jyakral (bya bral), he combined twenty-nine treatises to explain, which amazed everyone. Before that, he composed the Commentary on the Prajnaparamita (phar phyin gyi Tীkka) in Dewachen. After practicing Jyakral, in Zhalu (zha lu), he heard most of the empowerments, transmissions, and instructions of the four classes of tantra from Lama Khyungpo Lhasepa Shyönnu Sonam (bla ma khyung po lhas pa gzhon du bsod nams). In particular, all the Dharma cycles of yoga and Anuttarayoga of the Sakya (sa skya pa) and Butönpa (bu ston pa) traditions, especially the Guhyasamaja Marpa (gsang 'dus mar lugs), the 'Gos tradition, the Jowo tradition, and other noble traditions, as well as the Indian and Tibetan explanation traditions of the Yeshe Zhap (ye shes zhabs) tradition, the Künching (kun snying) tradition, etc., he heard and mastered. This holy being, from the time he received the full ordination of a monk at Jöden Tsokchenpa (jo gdan tshogs chen pa), even the most subtle prohibitions of the Vinaya were put into practice. Thereafter, he went to 'Ol kha and other places, and restored monasteries such as Jampa Ling (byams pa gling). Then, he thought that in the Land of Snows, all the scriptures, treatises, and instructions that exist now should be... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
