Of the earth. Although a hundred and eight treasure revealers have appeared, such a treasure revealer has not appeared before. Therefore, his name is respectfully called Mouse Treasure. Some false treasure revealers who deceive sentient beings break the vows of ordained nuns who hold vows. May such a village mantra practitioner who is neither a monk nor a layman never take such a body again. Thus, the Bhikshu Kunsang Shenpen Thaye, who holds the dust of the feet of the great accomplished master of Dzogchen from Do Kham, who is widely known as Drukpa Dorje Chang, on the crown of his head, gives advice to the supreme mind. May all times be auspicious and good! May there be auspiciousness! Again, even if one has attained the natural state of Samadhi, if one does not practice the skill of realization by mixing it with circumstances, one will not be able to overcome circumstances with antidotes. Therefore, in the midst of good Samadhi, it is like many terrifying poisonous snakes gathering and staying in one place. Due to the influence of any circumstance, such as the attractive realm of beauty and other objects of attachment, or the realm of hatred such as insults from others, anger and desire manifest. If that does not arise from the meditation of one's own mind stream, then think about where it arises from. Does it not arise from flesh, blood, skin, bones, and legs? If one cannot subdue those, one will be born in hell due to anger, as a hungry ghost due to desire, as an animal due to ignorance, as an Asura due to jealousy, and as a Deva due to pride, as explained in the teachings of "Hearing Leads to Liberation." Therefore, one must subdue those. So, how to subdue them is as follows: The great accomplished masters of India first gained stability in Samadhi in a secluded place, and then went to gatherings and other occasions to observe the comings and goings of people and their happiness and suffering, and practiced their skills. Then, they dug up the impure things of the villages and practiced the skill of distinguishing between pure and impure. They went to the place where the king made judgments and watched the gouging out of eyes, the cutting off of hands and feet, and the killing, and practiced the skill of self-generated compassion and self-generated pity for sentient beings. Then, they went to the charnel ground, and if they saw fierce wild animals and malevolent non-humans, they practiced the skill of fear. Similarly, they went to sacred places, mountaintops, lakes, islands, gardens, and other places, and if their eyes saw forms, they repeatedly observ

Even when the ear hears sounds, repeatedly listen, and whatever arises in the mind, allow it to arise. Even verbally, utter names, and even when thoughts arise, let them scatter into objects. To cut off the proliferation onto objects, such as a pillar, as soon as the thought arises, "This is a pillar," immediately shift to "This is a vase," "This is a stone," "This is a tree," and so on. Without losing the root of awareness from its own ground, let consciousness scatter into objects, and train in liberation upon awareness. Whatever adverse circumstances or discursive thoughts arise, one can transform them into opportunities to train awareness. For example, like Lama Zhang Rinpoche, even when his head bumped against a cave or a thorn pricked his foot, he could transform it into bliss and emptiness. Thus, the practice of training is for beginners, at the time of introducing awareness, to break the shell of clinging to experiences, and for those who have gained stability in practice, it is done to increase the realization that overcomes adverse conditions. It is said that one must definitely train for at least a hundred days.
