It is said that one should act accordingly. The Omniscient Dharma King, in the compilation of the Guru's words entitled "Dro Wai Thigle (Drop of Liberation)", said: The reason why even those who practice the Paramita path cannot attain Buddhahood without relying on the path of the Unsurpassed Mantra is: From "Las Tha Namje (Distinguishing the End of Actions)": "Even in endless eons, by giving heads, jewels, etc., because the three appearances are not purified, one will not attain the supreme enlightenment. Even in endless eons, likewise, with discipline, patience, etc., because the three appearances are not purified, one will not attain the supreme enlightenment. Even in endless eons, likewise, with the samadhi of the mantra's body, because the three appearances are not purified, one will not attain the supreme enlightenment. When the three appearances are purified, there is no doubt of omniscience." As it is said, the first two verses explain the Paramita Vehicle, and then one verse explains that the generation stage alone and the three lower Tantras cannot purify the three appearances, so the intention of saying that one cannot attain the Unsurpassed Enlightenment is that in the stage of the three appearances, there is a delusion of dualistic appearance, and until the imprints of that dualistic appearance are completely purified, there is no turning back. Therefore, in order to purify it in a way that completely reverses it, it is necessary to realize the meaning of suchness through innate bliss and meditate. And that is only possible in the Unsurpassed Vehicle. It is also said in "Dro Wai Thigle (Drop of Liberation)": "Why did Shakyamuni Buddha, accumulate merit for three countless eons, not realize this meaning on the Nairanjana River, and abide in a state of nothingness? At that time, all the Sugatas turned back that misguided one, and revealed the profound, clear, and non-dual wisdom, as pure as the center of the sky. Like fainting at midnight, by meditating on that, at dawn, he realized it in an instant." And so on. When our teacher was engaged in ascetic practices, all the Sugatas filling the sky said that such a samadhi of nothingness would not accomplish the Unsurpassed state! Thus, the reason for turning back that misguided one is that the subtle selflessness of phenomena and individuals to be realized is the ultimate reality of all phenomena, but the object-possessing mind that realizes it is the ordinary mind that needs to be purified and is momentary.

Therefore, even if a practitioner has made some manifest realization of emptiness on this, they cannot purify the subtle defilements of the three realms of existence. Since what needs to be purified is the momentary arising and ceasing body and mind, which cannot serve as the direct proximate cause of the extremely pure victorious Dharma body of the form body, it is said that using derogatory terms such as "nothing at all" and "wisdom that arises by chance" is to dispel the attachment of being satisfied with just that. So, from where does one enter the unsurpassed path? "Like the sphere of the sky, utterly pure, the profound and clear non-duality has been shown." This means that the wisdom that manifestly realizes the Dharmadhatu, which is like the sphere of the sky and free from all elaborations, purifies the subtle defilements of the appearance of duality that encompasses the three realms of existence. The profound and vast non-dual union of profound sequential four-meaning luminosity and the wind that rides it has been shown. Observation: "Like fainting at midnight, meditating on that, at dawn, in an instant, one truly realizes." What is said is that by meditating on the meaning of such a key instruction, just as one is free from coarse conceptual thoughts at the time of fainting, the luminosity that manifests the meaning free from all conceptual elaborations, thereby realizing that all phenomena are just as they are, and through the power of meditation, purifying the subtle defilements of the three realms of existence that other paths cannot purify, namely the defilements held by the obscurations of knowledge, purifying them without remainder, and at dawn, the wind ridden by that luminosity accomplishes the body of non-learning union and attains Buddhahood. In the Ear of Instructions, it says, "Even if one abides in the ultimate and final ground, one must rely on this means." It should be said that, for example, the wisdom empowerment given by the Buddhas residing in the sky, Shakyamuni Buddha, in order to attain enlightenment while sitting under the Bodhi tree, practiced the four emptinesses at midnight, and in any case, it was Bhagavan himself who empowered Vajra Heart with the supreme bindu. Similarly, the sequence of meaning luminosity and union must be accomplished, since the two are the path of the third and fourth empowerments. Therefore, the third empowerment, the wisdom empowerment, and the fourth empowerment, the word empowerment, must be performed, as it is said, and it is established by reason.
