The difference between accomplishment and these two is: saying "the basis" accomplishes samsara and nirvana, and saying "the basis" itself is both samsara and nirvana. That is, the various phenomena that arise from the uninterrupted great compassion are reasonable from the perspective of mind-essence, but if one always thinks like this, then mind-essence itself is both pure and impure. If one thinks that appearance is material, then the "basis" becomes a rock; if one thinks it is awareness, then the "basis" becomes the alaya-consciousness. If one thinks it is a collection of the two, then the "basis" becomes that which has grasper and grasped. Because it cannot be the nature of the single taste of dharmadhatu, it is unreasonable. These seven situations are like blind people touching an elephant. Second, in our own tradition, the flawless and supreme "basis" is explained. That is, the wisdom of the union of awareness and emptiness is the awareness of the three kayas that are inseparable and non-dual. The essence is emptiness, and that which has the essence of wisdom is the Dharmakaya; the nature is clarity, and that which has the essence of light is the Sambhogakaya; compassion is all-pervasive, and that which has the essence of awareness is the Nirmanakaya. The essence is inconceivable, but the radiance is unceasing, so it is liberated from the "mind" of the formless realm. It is clear but does not grasp, so it is liberated from the "mind" of the form realm. It is aware but not distracted, so it is liberated from the "mind" of the desire realm. This is the view of the three existences being pure from the beginning, the practice of the three realms being completely liberated, the conduct of being victorious over all directions, the view of recognizing one's own nature, the meditation of abiding in the natural state, the conduct of spontaneous self-liberation, the fruit of the three kayas being spontaneously accomplished, and the samaya is not deviating from this fruit. Therefore, for the view of the "basis" - the union of awareness and emptiness, one must decide from the depths of one's heart, one must generate certainty from the depths of one's heart, and not just remain at the level of understanding. Because it is directly showing the mandala of the originally pure Dharmakaya, it is making the "basis" into the path. The awareness that is directly appearing now is being introduced as the great perfection Dharmakaya of awareness. For example, in meditation, the external five sense consciousnesses, the internal delusions and thoughts of the three times of past, present, and future, are separated from the surface of experience, bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality, and arrive at the original nature. Awareness is unceasing, has the nature of all-knowing and all-seeing, and is not modified. This is the ordinary awareness of the present, or the ordinary awareness of awareness and emptiness. It is different from the ordinary awareness of delusion and thought, and the ordinary awareness of experiential clinging. Second, explaining the appearance of the "basis", the spontaneously accomplished appearance.

, and the ways in which the great Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya appear, can be understood from the explanations of the Bardo. Third, the way in which Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) is liberated is as follows: When all sentient beings die, they gather all their previous body and mind, together with the appearances of the three elements of white, red, and black, and the experiences of bliss, clarity, and non-thought, and all the illusions and thoughts, such as the eighty conceptual thoughts, cease. At the moment of death, the clear light of the Dharmakaya appears, and one realizes the common ground of both samsara and nirvana without becoming a Buddha. The body of the teacher of the three kayas does not arise. Without realization, one does not become a sentient being. The winds of delusion do not arise. Although the essence is emptiness, the radiance does not cease. It abides as the basis for the arising of both samsara and nirvana, which is the base, the spontaneously accomplished precious treasury. The inner clarity is like the form of the youthful vase body. Because the radiance does not appear outwardly, it is a vase. Because the subtle wisdom of the depths is not interrupted, it is called a body. From the stirring of compassion's awareness within, the seal of the youthful vase body is broken, and from the original base, the base appearance arises. The empty radiance of the essence is like the sky, without top or bottom, without edge or center. The nature of the radiance is the form of sound, light, and rays. The radiance of compassion's awareness arises as the nature of discriminating wisdom, and because both delusion and liberation can arise from it, it is called the path, the spontaneously accomplished precious treasury. When the base appearance arises, it is known as self-appearance. Knowing that self-appearance has no self-nature, it appears in its own face. The base of delusion and liberation transcends the base of liberation from any place that has not been indicated by the teachings. The imprints of ignorance, by seeing the face of awareness, differentiate between samsara and nirvana, and the discriminating wisdom itself matures into the Dharmakaya, so the imprints of the migration of the three realms are self-exhausted and self-purified. The subtle imprints of the obscurations of knowledge are liberated at the moment of complete purification. Such realization does not depend on other conditions, but is a realization through one's own power, which is a pith instruction that does not come from the scriptures. A Buddha who does not arise from the eight consciousnesses of the mind, a result that does not arise from the causes of virtue and vice. After distinguishing the differences of the six characteristics, all the base appearances, like dissolving into crystal light, abide in a single taste in the base realm of the initial liberation, which is the fruit, the spontaneously accomplished precious treasury, and this is the way of liberation. Another way of expressing the six characteristics is: When the base appearance actually arises.
