He said that practicing "seeing" first and then cultivating tranquility is not my way. In that case, a person who possesses the path of beginning liberation must touch the secret emptiness like a blind person grasping an elephant's tail. Do not cling to the inner emptiness. If liberation is not attained, consciousness will unconsciously look outward. The sense of the eye is much clearer in essence than other senses. Eye consciousness has a wider scope than other consciousnesses. In this regard, when the clear outer space appears, the two mix together, presenting a state of emptiness, which is the way the sight of the sky appears before the eyes. If one goes astray, it is against the nature of Dharma. If you urinate, you will pee in your shoes. Alas, if this is a wrong place, then it is not Shambhala. When Gewo Pelden asked where one would be born if one practiced this, he replied that by means of this wrong path that is free from the five bonds, if high, one will be born in the realm of infinite space, and if medium, one may be reborn as a long-lived god. This is similar to the direction of meditating with the thought that all dharmas are infinite like space. Alas, or like a crow's tooth-like thought, practicing with the sinking that obscures clarity and the dimness that obscures luminosity mixed together, one will be reborn as animals such as mice. Alas, in that case, one cannot approach the inner emptiness at all. This has neither self-grasping nor afflicted mind. The discriminating thoughts of the six consciousnesses certainly exist. Even if one abides in the inner emptiness, if one examines whether one is clinging to the outer emptiness and going astray, when it is windy and rainy outside, close the doors and windows. If you wear a hat and close your eyes to practice, it is like being unable to practice and being bound, or you will become drowsy. Also, sometimes when you look at the clear sky from the top of a large mountain and practice, it becomes very clear, which is a sign of going astray. At that time, one must turn one's gaze inward, close one's eyes, and observe what will appear from within the light. When sleeping at night, close the doors and windows, lie down in bed, feel scared, and cover your head with a blanket. When you close your eyes and sleep, the light will appear, which is a sign that it is not outside. When abiding in the inner emptiness, the consciousness with discrimination is the main thing, and

Even if afflicted mind does not arise, it will become clear. Of course, it will. Even if an old man is bedridden, it will stop. Both the alaya and the alaya consciousness must be manifested and destroyed. The five sense consciousnesses arise simultaneously without obstruction. Even if they arise, they should not appear on the object; it is necessary that the five senses are equal and not separated. If they are separated and chase after the object, or when the eye consciousness focuses on form, form will be seen. Also, as a sign that the ear consciousness and so on exist without obstruction, sound and other five objects appear without obstruction. The clarity and brightness of the five sense consciousnesses are not conceptual thought, so they do not accumulate karma. There is no need to stop it. The nature of eye consciousness is clarity and awareness. The object is not clear, but clear and bright. The object is consciousness, so it is consciousness. The object is conceptual thought, so it is called conceptual thought. The so-called clarity and awareness are not like lighting a bright butter lamp. In general, these consciousnesses arise from the part of luminosity, like a white lion cub. Even for each eye consciousness, there is a part of consciousness and a part of emptiness. It is necessary to separate the three parts of union. Eye consciousness is a sign of arising as wisdom, so there is a part of consciousness. Wisdom is a sign of arising from the dharmadhatu, so there is a part of emptiness. As a sign that the arising dharmadhatu wisdom is in union, eye consciousness also arises as appearance-emptiness union. After eye consciousness arises, it is impossible for it to appear and not be empty, or to be empty and not appear. The part of clarity and awareness is the father, and the part of dharmadhatu is the mother. If the two, appearance and emptiness, are separated, then the part of appearance is skillful means, and the part of emptiness is wisdom. What is there to negate about this? If attachment is placed on the five sense consciousnesses, there is no need for liberation. Then, if attachment is placed on both mind consciousness and afflicted mind, is it necessary to be liberated like a lion cub? When the two meet with adverse conditions, they accumulate karma that throws beings into samsara, so liberation is necessary. Some say that after his three-time conceptual thought disappears, there is a clear and bright consciousness, that is awareness, isn't it? Oh, too arrogant. After that, there is not just one conceptual thought, but five. If it appears on the alaya consciousness, there are six. The five senses
