The nature of phenomena is emptiness, Have full confidence in this. Overcome the clinging to reality, attachment, and conceptual thoughts. Fifth, the necessity of practice is: By practicing in this way, external appearances will be free from clinging to reality. If one is free from this, the inner consciousness will be expanded. Neither negating nor affirming, the nature of reality is equally extended. If there are no afflictions or attachments in the mind, no karma will be accumulated to wander in samsara. In the middle, when one is no longer attached to the aggregates, for any cause of aging, sickness, and death, one will not be afraid and will have confidence in realization. This path is a great method for accumulating the two accumulations. It is a broom for purifying sins and obscurations, a profound method that cannot be hindered by diseases and evil spirits, and all obstacles. Prolong life, obtain essence, and restore broken vows. It is an easy and meaningful path to achieve enlightenment. It is an extremely precious shortcut of pith instructions. Sixth, the way to abide, the way to conduct oneself, there are thirty-two in total. First, in the past, present, and future, at all times, keep the mind in its natural, uncorrected state, without distraction. By abiding in this, the truth of ultimate reality will be revealed. Second, no matter what demons, obstacles, or miracles may arise, do not cling to the body, treat it like a corpse. Thoughts of fear and shame should be completely abandoned. In the state of reality, guard without distraction or fabrication. During the day, abide in a clear and unattached state. At night, conduct yourself with gluttony and shamelessness. Internally and externally, take the freedom of the six senses as the path. Continuously, take the uncorrected, natural liberation as the path. Seventh, there are three kinds of samadhi, with three meanings. View all that appears as not truly existent, practice the samadhi of illusion. Have no fear or shame towards anything, have the samadhi of bravely moving forward, have strength. By destroying all illusions and delusions, nothing can harm oneself, have the vajra-like samadhi. This is also what is said in the Sutra of the Three Appearances: No matter how it appears, it is not real, one should know it as illusion. For appearances that are not truly existent, do not be afraid, be brave. Not being moved by the causes of delusion, abide in the wisdom of non-appearance. Therefore, the objects and causes of attachment and hatred are: Seeing the face of the deity, receiving the prophecy of the dakini. Obtaining the qualities of the stages and paths, supernatural powers and miracles, having retinue and resources, experiences and realizations, and strong attachments. Or, sickness, suffering, and evil spirits.

Whatever good or bad arises, such as miracles, Because in the meaning of Dharma-nature, merit and fault are not established, View all appearances as dreams and illusions. When virtues appear, abandon pride and arrogance, And transcend the realm of generating fear and dread towards faults. Knowing this way is the Samadhi of Illusion. Without cherishing the body, abandon it as food, The mind is unborn, and conceptual thoughts dissolve in their own place. In what also there is no fear or shyness, Is called the Samadhi of the Heroic Walk. With the view of ultimate truth, subdue all delusions and concepts, So that no circumstantial appearance can Move the Vajra-like Samadhi. Thus, these three Samadhis should be unwavering. * Eighth, the conduct is shown by four vows: Abandoning attachment to body and life, Cutting off attachment and aversion to enemies and friends, Always keeping awareness in its own state, Whatever sickness, suffering, or circumstantial appearances may arise, Without seeking other means, in a secluded mountain retreat, Practice and experience only, abandoning all other activities. The first chapter, "Unborn Single Determination." The essential instructions of Chö practice are of two kinds: The preliminary practices and the accomplishment of Bodhi. * First, taking refuge and generating Bodhicitta. * Second, there are three instructions for accomplishing Bodhi: First, turn away from non-virtuous and sinful actions. In the middle, turn away from all virtuous actions. Finally, the action is to turn away from everything. First, if you do not turn away from non-virtuous and sinful actions, There is no possibility of liberation from the realms of the three worlds and six classes of beings. In the middle, if you do not turn away from the path of virtuous actions, There is no time to transcend the Dharma of conventional and ultimate truth. Finally, if you do not transform into turning away from everything, There is no time to realize the single meaning of being free from virtue and vice. Teaching the Dharma of being free from virtue and vice is the Prajñā, The Pāramitā, this is the profound severance of demons. What is severed? It is severing conceptual clinging and, The demons of attachment and grasping, and so on. The exact definition or characteristic of this is, In the ultimate truth, there is nothing to be severed. In the conventional appearance, whatever conceptual thoughts arise, Completely cut them off in the space of the view of Dharma-nature, Because of cutting, all obstacles are naturally pacified, Because of natural liberation, all obstacles and demons, Are naturally liberated in their own place, this is the essential instruction. After practicing and experiencing the vast and profound teachings, Integrating the meaning of the teachings into awareness is the instruction, Which is adverse conditions such as diseases and evil spirits.
