If you diligently focus on such aims, but cessation does not occur, and instead prosperity and miracles arise, generally, according to the Chö practice, do not contend with gods and demons, do not make enemies, do not compete, do not inflict harm, take a humble position, accept defeat, and whatever happiness or suffering arises, ultimately rely on giving away the body. However, merely saying "Take it!" is not enough. Therefore, there are three stages of ultimate dedication: externally dedicating to gods and demons, internally dedicating the aggregates, and internally dedicating self-grasping. In short, having arrived in a dangerous place, one should practice without separating from the three aspects of daily practice. As it says in the scroll: "Having arrived, cherish these three aims: generosity and transforming the mind are great, give the body without attachment or regard, emptiness is a great support, rest in the state of unborn and non-conceptual, practice with diligence, cherish diligence without distraction or pride, these are the three daily aims." If one possesses these, then the above-mentioned cessation, prosperity, etc., will be perfected. First, externally dedicating to gods and demons refers to nagas, demons, or tsen, etc., gods and demons that have previously caused harm, or those that have not been severed by Chö, or those that have prospered due to other causes, etc. That is to say, to place danger upon danger, to go to an extremely dangerous place, or a place of great miracles and cruelty, etc. In short, having gone to a place that is difficult to sever, and lying down in the state of reality, the gods and demons dwelling there will be unable to bear it and will rise up in a clamor. At that time, generate confidence through practice, generate realization through understanding, and generate the power to remain through diligence, so that the gods and demons cannot find an opportunity and depart. Second, the intermediate

To push the aggregates to the limit is: After going to a place that is powerful and difficult to sever, tie a Soching knot on a black rope, then tie it around your neck, and if the end of the rope is a temple, hand it to the mural craftsman to place it. If it is a tree, tie it to the tree. If it is a rock, boulder, or pile of stones, tie it to it as well. If it is a meadow, hill, or large plain, drive a stake into the center of it and tie it there. If it is a spring, tie an oval stone to the end of the rope and throw it into the spring. Entrust it to the spirits of the place where you are, and lie down in practice. In "Cutting Through Delusion" it says: The instruction for pushing to the limit is: Lie down head to toe in that place. Tie a black rope around your neck. Entrust it to a spring, tree, or rock. Remain in a state of uncontaminated, unfabricated awareness, relaxed without pride. View everything as a child's game. Third, to push the inner clinging to self to the limit is: No matter what you do, this body composed of the four aggregates cannot escape death. It will not remain on this earth forever. No one escapes death. When the time of death comes, even if you do not cause harm and protect me, you cannot seize my life. If I have not accumulated the cause of ultimately being born in hell, even if all the spirits of existence turn against me, they cannot stop it. Now that there is not much time left, one or two days of life, since you spirits desire it, why not give it away while you have the power to give? Give it generally for all beings, especially for kind parents, and especially for the root guru. Especially for the sake of you spirits, from the highest peak of existence to the lowest hell, may all the spirits of existence gather here! I, so-and-so, give this body composed of the four aggregates as you wish, please enjoy it! Please be satisfied! If I cannot give it, it is my fault. If you cannot eat it, it is your fault! First, to push the outer spirits to the limit is: For nagas, demons, or tsen, etc., who are originally harmful spirits, or those who have not been severed after being severed, or those who have flourished due to other causes, etc., this is done by applying fierce means to a fierce place, or in a very fierce place, or in a place where power and cruelty are very strong, etc., in short.
