No. The greatness of the fruit attainment is: obtaining the common eight attainments, and the supreme attainment is the realization of the great seal becoming manifest. Such a lama, thinking about going to Tibet, set out. Once, when the three, master and disciples, were coming from a remote area of India, a Geshe named Dode Nyingpo, who was a Gratangpa, went to India, saying that the translator was going to teach the six dharmas, holding a water-wood staff with various animal figures carved on it. And a lama named Smara Serpo, because he did not believe in the Tibetan Dharma, went to India to seek the Dharma but did not find it, so he returned. In Nepal, he arrived in Nepal with many merchants who were said to be going to Lama Ngamngu to ask for a sow. There he stayed for a month, and on the way back to Tibet, he traveled with an Indian saint. In their minds, they did not really know the Indian saint in India, but this Acharya Lama must be an accomplished one, but they did not know whether he was an inner Buddhist or an outer Hindu, so they did not ask for instructions. Later, when they arrived in Mangyu, there was a group of merchants, and they were all very respectful to the Acharya, offering many flowers. When asked what the lama's name was, Revered. In India he is called Pandit Kamalaśīla, and in Tibet he is known as the Indian Saint. This is a Pandit, a scholar, an accomplished one. He has been to Tibet many times before, and it seems he is going to Tibet again this time. Then the Geshe asked for some teachings, and the saint said: Give me your staff. Do not cling to things like this, it is a cause of losing bodhicitta. This is a tool used by Hindus to perform magic tricks. I knew it, but I didn't do it. If you want to deceive sentient beings, you need this. Okay, give it to me, and he broke it. Then the Geshe asked for some teachings, and the saint said: Do not take external appearances into your mind, do not scatter inner awareness outward. Do not cling to the body with the mind, do not cling to the mind with the body, let the body and mind be free and relax naturally. After hearing this, he developed conviction and regarded him as his root guru. Lama Smara Serpo thought, if the Dharma does not come to seek me, then people will not find the Dharma by seeking it. I also sought the Dharma in India,

When I returned to Tibet without obtaining it, I thought I would meet a Lama practitioner. So I asked the Lama for instructions, and the Lama said, "Now someone will come to give you instructions." After that, the Geshe and the merchants went to southern Tsang. The A charya disciples seemed to be heading to northern Tsang. The yellow-bearded man thought that wherever this Lama went, he would follow him and receive instructions, so he went with him. Then they arrived at a place called Takri and stayed in an inn. Many people came to ask for blessings, some blind people regained their sight, some deaf people regained their hearing, and so on. Many people were amazed. In that place, a Geshe named Kyo Shakya Yeshe, a master of Sutra and Illusion, was invited. While he was holding a feast, his attendant came from the place of Nyangto Drakchen Drakchung, whose ancestors had been competing with great accomplished ones. A beautiful shepherd offered a yak and 160,000 coins together, and entrusted them to him. The Geshe's merit was too great to take care of the children, and many signs of being possessed by demons appeared, such as the loss of eyebrows. The Geshe was worried about this, and heard that an Acharya with blessings was staying in the inn, so he went to ask. "In general, you are the source of Indian wisdom, and especially I have heard that you, Lama, are a blessed person. I have two children possessed by ghosts and spirits, please have mercy and bless them." So he said, "What should I do?" At that time, the Lama Yellowbeard said, "Now the instructions you want are coming." There, after being entertained, he asked for instructions. He gave instructions to the two children, Lama Yellowbeard, and Geshe Kyo together, and gave the text of the "Perfection of Wisdom Sutra" in sixty thousand verses. At that time, it was written down and introductory oral instructions were requested. The two children, through practice, recovered from their illnesses and became excellent accomplished ones. It is said that the Kadampa did not spread from the lineage, but was called the "One-Word Instruction," and some say that this is the reason it has been passed down. He passed this on to his nephew Sonam Lama. He offered a hundred thousand.
