Do not. The attachment in between, body and life, lifespan and breath, power and glory, radiance and the flesh of the body, whatever is cherished and clung to, the clinging to self, all that is inseparable from the mind, are all self-grasping and clinging. Homage. Without any regard, discard it like vomit, abandon it like feces, throw it away like snot and phlegm. Whoever likes it, take it; whatever you like, do it. The old ascetic doesn't need even a speck of dust. There isn't even a hair's breadth of attachment. Having done that, he lies down and stays. The practice of the sixth night is: First, when going to Chö (断法), go like a lion without attachment, go like a tigress with ferocity, go like a waterfall from a steep cliff, without obstruction, without fear or apprehension. First, even if enemies arise from the peak of existence above to the hell realms below, awareness is a magical display of the mind. In a state where not even a moment is truly established, go without fear or apprehension. Going with ferocity like a tigress means possessing the experience of understanding emptiness, possessing the confidence of realizing non-arising, possessing the wisdom of knowing non-reality, therefore, apply ferocity to awareness, make knowledge more acute, make the senses more vivid, make the behavior more rough, and go while making the sound "Phaṭ (ཕཊ།,phaṭ,स्फुट्,स्फुट,破)". Going without obstruction like a waterfall from a steep cliff means that no matter what fear or apprehension arises, do not become arrogant or complacent, and without hesitation, like an elephant gone mad, or like a lightning strike, go without obstruction like a waterfall from a steep cliff. Having arrived, the practice is to suppress gods and demons, entrust thoughts to the enemy, and extract self-grasping from the object. These three are the practices. First, it is the act of applying poison on top of poison, therefore, whether it is water, rock, tree, or the support where gods and demons reside, whatever you fear, go fiercely upon it. By doing so, the gods and demons themselves will be startled and run away. For example, if you reach out to grab a trembling dog, it will run away, it is like that. In general, when an ordinary person without practice is sleeping at night, just by the gods and demons entering the room, that person becomes frightened, consciousness becomes clouded, cold sweat appears, anger arises, and harm from demons occurs. That is the power of demons.

Similarly, when the cutter goes to a place where there are ghosts and spirits, the power of the ghosts and demons diminishes, their strength and majesty disappear, and all their magical powers subside and they leave. For example, if beeswax is placed at the entrance of a poisonous snake's nest, the poison will disappear, its power will be lost, and its memory will fade away. Entrusting conceptual thoughts to the letter "A" means that at first, one cannot go to dangerous places, in the middle one cannot sleep, and in the end, one cannot give up the body. What one cannot do, one should force oneself to do. If you are afraid, go towards fear. If you do, lie down and abide from (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), the awareness is completely satisfied, the shackles of ego-grasping are released, the source of fear is cut off, and fear and timidity disappear and leave. For example, horses, donkeys, or small-eyed livestock do not want to go into the water or cross bridges. If they go around the easy road, they will get into trouble and not want to go forward. For places they do not want to go, they are forced to entrust to the letter "A", and then let go. Afterwards, they will walk without hesitation even on bad roads. Expelling from the realm of ego-grasping: Where are the pitiful, the shy, and the dare not to do? What is their essence? Where is the reason? Observe, and relentlessly pursue that ego-grasping, chase it with awareness alone, like an old woman pointing fingers, completely cut off the root of that ego-grasping. After doing this, the ego-grasping will disappear without support, disintegrate in the unreal, and spin away in the non-existent, so abide in that state. The practice of the seventh night is: First, when going to a dangerous place, one should go in four ways: the body becomes like a corpse, the mind becomes like carrying a corpse, the bed becomes like a graveyard, like ghosts and wild animals, thinking that whoever wants this tattered corpse can take it, and then go. What is practiced after arriving is: the view is unreal and non-grasping, meditation is non-intentional, behavior is without acceptance or rejection, vows are without protection, and the result is without seeking. These five are practiced. First is: the view is neither permanent nor nihilistic, without arising or ceasing, without beginning or end, because there is no real clinging, so it benefits the gods.
