Due to the issuance of the order, people had to leave. The teaching and learning in that monastery was also interrupted for about eighteen years. Although the Sangha decreased and shouldered heavier responsibilities for a while, a separate monastic college was established to ensure continuous teaching and learning day and night. The monastic rules and regulations were established, providing clothing and other assistance to poor students, and managing the patrons according to local conditions. As a result, both political and religious affairs developed, and the monastery soon returned to its original state. The acquired wealth was not kept locked away in the treasury. Primarily, generous offerings, including silks and horses, were made to the supreme Gyalwa Rinpoche. Furthermore, due to the connection with that monastery, Jetsunma of Samding Monastery was invited to Nyemo (སྙེ་མོ།), and complete sets of clothing, along with 130 offerings including five horses, were presented. Two months' salary was given to the monks, along with two distributions of alms, and a public offering led by seven head of livestock. Multiple rounds of alms were given to the monastery itself. As public property, there were thirty complete sets of five-colored crowns and pearl necklaces, four fine silk robes, and five hundred "khal" of barley, used to establish a system of annual salary of one "khal" per monk for the long term. After managing that monastery for twelve years, when appointing the Khenpo, in order to please all the monks, a three-day banquet was held, all the monks were entertained, a set of robes was given to each person, and a generous gift of eighteen items including horses was presented to the new throne. Afterwards, with a few attendants, he went into retreat and visited holy sites such as Lhasa, Samye, and the seat of the Lopa Guru, Dra Ritrö Bangrim (བང་རིམ།), and other places. In particular, he stayed at the site of the hermitage for three days, establishing a connection. Praying with devotion, recognizing the nature of one's own mind as the Guru, auspicious signs appeared that would benefit the declining teachings in later times. On the way back, he visited the Tsuklakhang and the Guru in Nyemo (སྙེ་མོ།), and when he arrived at the entrance of the valley, a person named Choje spoke of the local year.

I inquired in detail. Then the master said, "This time the karma is good, and these blessed places have also been circumambulated. I have also met the descendants of Rog." He said, "These are not the descendants of Rog, they are Sopa." The master asked, "Then are there people who resemble the descendants of Rog?" He replied, "There are no pure descendants, but there are similar descendants who have branched out, but they are not obedient now." At that time, because his younger brother Rabjampa Lekpa Gyatso passed away in the upper region, he went to Lakho and built funeral offerings and a silver stupa for the afterlife, and also repaired the eaves of the main offering hall. Afterwards, he invited his nephew Rabjampa Chime Puntsok Tengye to the throne of Lakho, and then went to the secluded place Dzari and stayed in retreat for three years. After that, he returned to Laji and practiced in Kobrak Cave for one season in the summer. He offered tsok khor, three rounds of tea to the Sangha, silk banners, silk, butter lamps, etc. to the Sangha of Laji, and also erected two large flags. After that, he went to Godawari and offered the Ganachakra of Chakrasamvara, and bestowed refuge vows on about eight men and women. Temporarily, he went to Dingri and taught Zhi byed in the seat, which coincided with the Wood Mouse year. Our venerable and glorious Lama, the Great Treasure Revealer Chokyi Gyalpo, whose name is difficult to pronounce, with his great aspiration to revive the declining Zhi byed teachings in the north and south of the central region, sent two messengers to Dingri to invite him. The Dharma Lord Rinpoche gladly went to the great monastic college of Mindrolling and offered a mandala decorated with silver ingots to Jetsun Rigzinpo, as well as generous offerings, and offered a long life prayer. After that, to the descendants of Sangon, the descendants of Yabpa, the omniscient Kunsang Rinpoche, the attendant Chöze Menla and Sang-ngak, and the Patro Drupchenpa, he completely bestowed the three empowerments, transmissions, and oral instructions of the Zhi byed teachings, and I also received them all at that time. In addition, Jaro A La Pukpa Khenchen Chökyong Gyaltsen also gave the empowerment of the scriptures and other subsequent transmissions.
