He requested to be granted the profound instructions of Kunga. He was told, "That's fine, but to ripen the unripe, empowerment is necessary, so if there are conditions, bring them." So, a skull was placed on a small bowl. A thread was threaded through the eye of a needle, passed through the skull, and offered. The master said, "If it is brought close to the hand seal of Jowo's son, it can serve as a vessel for bestowing profound Dharma, it will guide the path of the faithful, and there will be no great worldly fortune." Then, he arranged the scriptures and gave blessings, and at that time, a special realization that blended calm and insight arose. The master said, "Although the view of the essence is good, the signs and qualities of the path are necessary, so stay in retreat for seven days, and come out three times if no signs appear." After completing the mind training, he requested the texts. The master said, "The wisdom of an Acharya (Hindu practitioner) is introduced nakedly and without defilement, so there are no texts. If you want to see the master's practice, find some conditions." So he went north and found six female yaks and two volumes of blue paper texts. He offered the six female yaks to the master. Using the two yaks as conditions, he gave instructions on the stages of the path for a year, requested empowerments, wrote down the master's words, divided them into four categories of Dharma, and gradually bestowed the texts. He went to Todlung (present-day Drigung, Lhasa) and met Mönlam Bar, and also requested Dharma from Chen Shawa Rewo. He also requested Dharma from Nyak Chungwa and Zhang Gom. After four years, the master said, "Jowo's son, now it is time to go home. Do not show profound instructions to those who do not keep their vows, and do not spread the four instructions to Dharma holders who are not effective." He gave many other instructions and then sent him to Yarmo (place name). After he went there, he practiced single-pointedly, and although the signs and qualities of the path were perfected, he mostly did not speak of them, only speaking a little to Zhikpo, and he was also able to perform transference of consciousness. After that, he practiced for six years. Lhatsun Gönmo and three others consulted and offered monastic robes, and he was installed as the abbot of the monastery. He mostly stayed in retreat, and wrote many commentaries on the words of the holy ones. Seeing that serving as the abbot of the monastery would be a cause of distraction, he lived as he pleased. As the fame of his instructions spread, many great people requested Dharma, but he acted according to the master's instructions. He hid most of the texts in the rocks of Shangtok, etc. He installed Zhikpo Nyima Senge and his brothers as the lords of the Dharma.

At the age of ninety-one, he passed away peacefully, and his relics were enshrined in a stupa. When Sadāprarudita (the bodhisattva 'Always Weeping') was seeking the Dharma, as an auspicious coincidence of erecting seven stories of Prajñāpāramitā scriptures, the oral transmission lineage of the meaning was: Thogme (Asanga), Dig Nye (Vasubandhu), Brahmin Āryadeva, Dampa Rinpoche, Kunga, Patsab, and Tenne, it is said that there was a single transmission between these seven. Gyalwa Tenne designated the three Rog brothers as the correct Dharma lineage holders. Rog Sherab Wo (Wisdom Light) was born as a descendant of Rog Namkhai Yeshe (Space Wisdom), a great mantra practitioner who appeared during the early propagation period of Buddhism. At the age of seven, he was proficient in reading, reciting more than twenty-one thousand times a day. By practicing Vajrakīla, he directly saw the face of the deity. The deity said, "The power of my Kīla has made your body like a lump of iron. Now, even if thousands of demons surround you, let alone yourself, they cannot harm your retinue." After that, he relied on many lamas and received the instructions of the new and old doctrines, etc. Although the merits of his studies were very great, they are not described in detail here. In particular, he received all the instructions of the Shije (Pacification) school, and through practice, he realized the undeceiving wisdom, and the understanding that all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are merely names arose in his mind. After that, he spent three years in retreat in Tsetang. He lived on the essence of nutrients, wore bark clothing, and practiced in silence, thus realizing the signs of the path and reaching the state of bone meeting stone, cutting off the flow of outflows. Initially, he saw the face of the yidam deity. In the middle, the dakinis prophesied. Finally, he employed the yakshas. Previously, his name was Gyamon, but because he won many debates, the king called him Sherab Wo (Wisdom Light). At the age of thirty, he met Kyitshad Zhikpo, and when he drank the remaining nectar that Kyitshad Zhikpo gave him, his whole body was filled with bliss. Kyitshad Zhikpo said, "I have a state where there is no difference between Dharma and non-Dharma. Take this." Then he gave him a fingernail on which the form of Vajrayogini naturally appeared. There, all thoughts of good and evil, acceptance and rejection, and clinging to meditation and post-meditation disappeared. Later, he met Kyitshad Zhikpo again and received the Chöd: The Six Assemblies. Because the lama was old, he asked the lama's daughter, Kalden Tso, for detailed explanations.
