Sa. This holy being is known as Phyar Chen, the eastern gatekeeper. The southern gatekeeper is Vajra Krodha, and the western gatekeeper is the holy Phyar Chung. I have not seen the extensive biographies of these three accomplished ones. The main holder of the lineage and empowerment, the northern gatekeeper Bodhisattva Kunga, was taken care of by the holy one in his previous five lives. In this life, he was born in Tsagud, east of Dingri (present-day Tingri County, Tibet), as the son of Tobpa Trisang and Jomo Trima in the Water Male Tiger year. He was named Tochung Bumme, but he cried and said, "I am Kunga." Therefore, the name was changed to Kunga. He married Jomo Gyarmoza and had a son named Serwo. Because worldly affairs were not going well, all his wealth was exhausted. Then, when he was thirty-nine years old, the holy one went to Langkhor. Three years later, in the Iron Dragon year, he lied to Jomo, saying he was going to Nyenam Lakha to rob, and then went to the holy one in Langkhor. The next morning, the holy one said in a loud voice, "Listen, you monks of the monastery! Today, the hero Vajra is coming, so everyone should clean up, prepare offerings, bring musical instruments, and prepare to welcome him!" Everyone did as he said. They looked in all directions, but there was no one. In the afternoon, a person came, ugly, a Nepalese, poorly dressed, with little dry food, hiding and sneaking. Everyone mocked him, but still welcomed him. The holy one was very happy and greeted him personally, saying, "It's so good that the hero Vajra has come here!" Phyar Chung said to prepare a throne and cushions for the hero Vajra, but he didn't understand. The holy one himself made a pile of ashes, crossed four arrows on top of it, and said, "Son of Kunga, it is best for you to sit here now." Then, Lama Bodhisattva grabbed the holy one's clothes and asked, "What is the nature of samsara?" The holy one said, "Kunga, it is a worm in a pile of dog dung." He also asked, "Do the beings here have a chance to be happy?" The holy one curled his fingers into a ring and said, "Suffering is like a continuous line of lambs." He also asked, "When will we be liberated from this?" The holy one said, "Unless a path to liberation is found in the dangerous place of grasping and clinging." He gained definite understanding of these words.

Having arisen, he practiced asceticism without looking at his own homeland. He prayed only to the Lama, and blessings entered him. Homage! The holy one was pleased that the root of virtue was established. He said, "You, hero who came from Tsagud, must wage a victorious war." I asked, "How should I put on armor?" He said: "Lie down in a cave that can only hold your body. Wear rags that can only protect you from the wind. Maintain a life that can only sustain you. Practice just enough not to be annoyed. Associate with people just enough not to become too familiar." He said. I asked, "How should I practice?" He said, "Turn the signs of dependent origination of the Prajnaparamita around, stay and meditate." After meditating, the talent of wisdom became unobstructed in all directions. Understanding of the signs of dependent origination became clear, and the holy one was very pleased. He said, "Kunga, come here." When I went to the holy one, he asked, "If a royal family is empowered from the crown of the head, is there enough weight to hold down the seat? If I let you climb during a miraculous time, is there enough lightness not to tremble? If I let you compete with a thousand-turning wheel king, can you rule the four continents?" Kunga replied, "I know worldly affairs, but it is like not knowing. I come, but it is like not coming. I do, but it is like not doing. I have done, but it is like not having done. But I have understanding and firm perseverance in this holy Dharma of the holy one." The holy one was very pleased. "First, because you are stealing the king's treasury, take many keys. In the middle, because you are lighting a lamp in a dark cave, put a sharp flint in your pocket. Finally, because the singer who crosses the river is descending, prepare a good raft." He said, and took him out of the path of the five paths and three sufferings. He entrusted the lineage of the meaning of the Prajnaparamita, and gave the water of empowerment and the handwritten copies of the four precepts, along with the oral transmission. There he lived with the holy one for eighteen years. After that, for four years, he gave all the instructions to Patshab Gompa. After that, he stayed for three years. At the time of his passing, at the summit of Tsugtor Gang, where all the great figures gathered, he spoke the song of testament. That night, he himself went to the realm of the Dakinis. That was the direct disciple of the holy one himself, and the twenty-four yoginis who attained realization and liberation simultaneously through the blessings of the Lama...
