Geshe Drakpa told Sumtsun Chung. He told Nyangto Dopa. He told Shabkyi Lhachung Ozer. He gave it to Chuipa Ngartson in Shang, who composed the nine-volume book and gave it to Chuipa Tson Seng. He told Rok Sherab Wo. The second is the Jey lineage: There were two Geshes of Zangyul, father and son, Jeywa. The son, Dawa Drakpa, was born in the year of the Fire Male Dog. He had taken ordination and had perfect qualities of studying both Sutra and Tantra. Hearing the name of the holy one, he felt sadness and inquired, learning that he was residing in Yerpa. From the sky, the Dakini also prophesied: "The venerable Kamalaśīla is a yogi who possesses the three vows, knows the Buddha's intention without turning it upside down, and has the unbroken lineage of practice instructions passed down from the master, the noble Nāgārjuna and his sons. Please request Dharma from that venerable one." Then Dolgangpa, father and son, took all the gold they had, the father's profound Dharma robes, and many woolen cloths, and went to Yerpa. They offered a golden mandala and other wealth to the holy one, but he did not even look at them. The master and disciple were like mother and child meeting, and he smiled and felt compassion. The holy one asked Jeywa many questions and was very pleased. Then, starting with the instructions for opening the mind, the common and uncommon Perfections, the common and uncommon Secret Mantras, and so on, he gave one hundred and eight different instructions over nine months. When asked to attend to him, the holy one said, "Your parents are not happy, so go back to your homeland and practice." Jeywa also practiced single-mindedly and realized enlightenment. Jeywa's father and brother, Nyima Jangchub, met the holy one in Dingri (present-day Tingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet), but did not receive verbal instructions, only symbolic teachings. Jeywa Chandrakirti offered a horse, and the holy one taught some instructions, such as the key point of the non-common Secret Mantra, the oneness of body, speech, mind, and essence of mind. To his own father and Shateng and others who requested teachings, he only gave a few superficial instructions. Jeywa gave all the instructions to his close attendant, the teacher Rahula Vajra, saying, "Practice like me! Do not show it to others," and sealed it with a seal. This is a Bhikshu.

Byangchub Yeshe heard these teachings. He knew many teachings of the Kadampa, Abhidharma, and new and old tantras. He requested all the instructions of the holy Dampa from Nyima Jangchub. Knowing that the holy Dampa's instructions were the essence of the Dharma, he stayed in the hermitage of Lachenpo and practiced with great devotion. He dreamed that Lachendra Kirti came from the sky and gave him instructions. The next morning, he went to see the teacher Rahula when he was summoned. Rahula said, "Last night, Lama Chandrakirti prophesied to me." Then, he gave him the instructions along with the books, and warned, "Do not spread them to those who have no vows and are evil vessels." These instructions were passed on to Chupa father and son. They passed them on to Rok Sherab Wo. These instructions include the unique Paramita instructions that combine the 'Continuity of Names' and the 'Collection of Sutras', and the instructions of the fifty-eight accomplished men and women in tantra. The third is the Jang tradition: the Jang Kadampa of Chim region. Dampa gave the instruction of the wordless Prajnaparamita. Jang told this to Jangchungwa. He told it to Chupa father and son. They told it to Rok Sherab Wo. It is said that there is only one introduction trick. This is the scope of the branch lineage. The names of the lamas and instructions of the scattered lineage have already been mentioned. Detailed biographies have not been seen, and it is said that most of them were accomplished ones. It seems that some people, such as Bangung Gyal of Kyisho, went to the pure land of Khechara without abandoning their physical bodies. These are the scope of the intermediate lineage. The greatness of the profound Chod lineage, which belongs to this intermediate lineage, will be shown below. Next is the history of the final lineage: Dampa Rinpoche's main disciple, one of the four great yogis of Gopa, Dampa Chyarchen, was born in the Khawachen region as the son of the great Dharma King, Lord Tsedé, who ruled the entire region. He became disgusted with the royal enjoyment that could rival the wealth of the gods, and became a monk. Later, when Dampa went to Dingri, he met him at his feet, and Dampa compassionately accepted him, and just by giving instructions, he attained extraordinary realization. When he leveled the ground of Reten Khangba, Dampa said, "It is auspicious for a royal family to level the ground." After saying this, he was delighted.
