Napo Gang, in the terrifying charnel grounds of the land of Oddiyana, he reveled in the wheel of desired enjoyments to his heart's content. At that time, vidyadharas and dakinis gathered like clouds. Sanskrit Romanization: Heruka, Literal Meaning: Blood-Drinker) himself, the glorious father and mother, appeared and bestowed empowerments, entrusting all the secret tantras of the dakinis. His experience and realization grew like a summer ocean. In the mandala of the body of the selfless goddess, he drank deeply of the nectar of the four stainless empowerments. As great non-dual wisdom became manifest, he attained the supreme siddhi of the unchanging mudra. His peaceful heart, cool as the moon, burned the thicket of the four maras to ashes. Although he severed all dualistic appearances and elaborations in the expanse, he was bound tightly by compassionate love for others. Though unwavering in the state of equanimity, he clearly saw all phenomena as they are. This one who possesses the power of the ten strengths, whose effortless activity is spontaneously accomplished, is the complete and perfect Buddha. This is an intermediate verse. Seventh, the greatness of his deeds and activities. The greatness of his deeds and activities is that the great lord of yoga, this one's practice of accomplishment is as follows: As a beginner, in the time of the Shravakas, he relied on the lama for a long time and completed his tasks with the three kinds of pleasing actions. He completed the four empowerments through the profound path of the lama, and realization arose without obstruction, cutting through the doubts in his mind. When he practiced and cultivated in the time of the Pratyekabuddhas, his asceticism reached its limit. He established a foundation for the deity of the yidam, and became familiar with the meaning of the symbols. Pure appearances arose from within, and all the qualities of the signs of the path arose without obstruction. Finally, in the time of the great courageous Bodhisattva for the benefit of others, he possessed a treasure of blessings, an armor of compassion greater than others. Male and female protectors were employed in his service, and pure auspicious connections arose from within. All fortunate individuals who touched him, the great ones increased, and the small ones decreased. It is said that there was not a single person who did not generate some kind of quality in their being simply by seeing his face and hearing his voice. Therefore, his practice and conduct are more extraordinary than others. That is, first, relying on the lama, he cut through doubts through hearing and thinking, and the signs of the Shravakas.
