Stirring water that contains no oil in the hope of obtaining butter is not the act of a wise person, but rather a sign of greater foolishness. To lack confidence in the hope that depends on the tree for its fruit is ridiculous! Sixth, it is shameful to reverse the response to kindness. It is also seen that people who, despite having received a hundred good deeds, turn against you and treat you as an enemy for a single unmet request. This was said to the people of Zhangzhung. In general, there is no benefit in bestowing kindness on evil people. It is like throwing earth and stones into the sky. The more kindness you show, the more harm it brings. Therefore, even if you do a hundred good deeds, they only see the one thing you didn't do. They do not abandon their preconceived notions, but rather overlook the virtues of others while magnifying their faults. Such people are destined to fall and end up with nothing. Just because you didn't fulfill one of their needs, they disregard all the previous kindnesses and instead treat you as an enemy. Seeing such people is like seeing a dung heap rotting due to too much water, there is nothing to be surprised about. For example, if a golden book has letters that are exquisitely written, but one letter is not well-written and all the other letters are erased, that is not the act of a wise person, but rather a sign of greater foolishness. It is unreasonable to repay good deeds with evil deeds, it is shameful and ridiculous! Seventh, it is shameful to take one's own life because of another's displeasure. It is also seen that people end their own lives because of dissatisfaction with others. This was said to Chorö Yukyi. Because of extreme dissatisfaction with others, they hope to harm the other person by ending their own life, which is even more unreasonable than being unreasonable. Seeing foolish people bringing about their own destruction is not something to be emulated. For example, if a person is struck by a poisoned arrow and refuses to let the doctor remove the arrow, but instead cherishes it, that is not the act of a wise person, but rather a sign of greater foolishness. Because in this world, there is nothing more precious than one's own life. Not thinking about this in one's heart is ridiculous! Eighth, it is shameful to erase the manifestation of kindness. It is also seen that people throw many acts of kindness into the water without any meaning. This seems to have been said to Minu Triden. To the good deeds

It is necessary to manifest, because for bestowing kindness, there is no gratitude in return; for the many merits done, there is no joy of rejoicing; not manifesting harmlessness is like water flowing away. A person who repays good with evil is no different from an animal. Also seen are people who have no joy for kindness, which is very unreasonable. For example, when various medicines have been mixed and the disease is about to be cured, if one deliberately eats harmful food, that is not the behavior of a wise person, but even more foolish. One should not abandon good rewards meaninglessly, feeling ashamed of not having joy and mocking. Ninth, not being clear about the big but looking down on the small is shameful. Also seen are people who do not think about the virtues of the lama but instead contemplate what faults there are, this seems to be said to Minuku Tsa. Those who are not born from the gold of faith, those who are without fortune and have cut off their lineage. For the lama's virtues, which are like an ocean, not thinking of them as a place of wonder, but completely abandoning the heaps of virtues, and for those who contemplate what faults there are, even down to the smallest details, even the ladder of emanation cannot benefit them. Also seen are people who accumulate sins by relying on the lama, one should not examine those faults. For example, if one finds a supreme precious jewel, but does not recognize it as the source of fulfilling wishes, but instead sees that it has impure colors, a mole on the pattern as small as a freckle, or edges and fluff as fine as a hair tip, and abandons it, that is not the behavior of a wise person, but even more foolish. One should not pick faults and abandon virtues, feeling ashamed of applying definite views to evil thoughts and mocking. Tenth, feeling ashamed of not accepting what is known. Also seen are people who knowingly eat poisonous meat, saying that putting iron in it will be beneficial, this is a metaphorical meaning, please understand it this way. It is not that it is uncertain whether it is poisonous or not, but after it is certain that it is poisonous, a person with reason should not eat meat, because it will lead to death. Knowing that it is poisonous, but saying that putting it in an iron pot or iron piece will be beneficial and cooking it, one should not accept it, absolutely not. Poisonous things are not food, there is no need to gamble with life, the power of iron cannot dis

It is also like seeing someone who hopes to cause harm, applying this to this matter. Just as it is certain that there is poison, it is certain that non-virtuous actions have sin. Just as putting iron into meat is hoping for benefit, letting others do sinful deeds, hoping that one's own maturation will not be delayed, that is it. Just like a person who eats, not fearing the maturation of karma, that is rejoicing in the misinterpretation of the state of compassion. Therefore, the forty-eighth chapter, the chapter on shame, tells of the withered experience that has passed. Now, the forty-ninth chapter, the chapter on showing the increase of merit, is this. The holy one said: Some people say that people like us cannot study Buddhism, saying that their eyes have not looked upwards. When asked what that was like, he said: The more causes of suffering, the better, that is the cause of the arising of the Dharma. It is good if one's own door is weak, not being a slave to those who do not believe in Buddhism. It is good if there is no kindness from parents, the foundation of the defilements of samsara is small. It is good if there are many diseases, remembering death will鞭策exertion. It is good if the birth image is not good, it will not hinder steadfast friends. It is good if there are few utensils, the cause of stinginess is small. It is good if there is little love, the mind of attachment is small. It is good if there is little merit, virtuous deeds will naturally increase. It is good if there are few relatives, the suffering of the mind is small. If one sincerely practices the Dharma, there is nothing that does not become merit, that is increasing upwards. If one experiences view, meditation, and practice, even begging for food can be done, it is said. Here there are thirteen points of severance. First, pointing out that the favorable conditions for the Dharma are not the path to worldly advancement, this is one. Asking for the reason for its key point, this is two. Pointing out that bad conditions鞭策faith, this is three. Pointing out that a strong door is an obstacle to practice, this is four. Pointing out that the dwelling is the basis of the habits of samsara, this is five. Pointing out that gathering is the kalpa of the Dharma's cause, this is six. Pointing out that a beautiful appearance is the root of obstacles, this is seven. Considering wealth to be the root of sin, this is eight. Pointing out that not being valued will promote the increase of self-realization, this is nine. Considering noise to be the swaying of obstacles, this is ten. Considering relatives to be the iron hook pulling towards the abyss, this is eleven. Pointing out that practicing the Dharma oneself is a sign of going towards misfortune, this is twelve.
