On the cloth bought by the hero, wash it with water in which mantras have been recited. Repel obstacles and provide protection. Recite a little of the near-heart mantra. When taming the cloth, smear a little knife blood, placental blood, and various poisons. In the place where the image is drawn, write ya (藏文,梵文天城体:य,梵文罗马拟音:ya,汉语字面意思:ยะ) and bhyo (藏文,梵文天城体:भ्यो,梵文罗马拟音:bhyo,汉语字面意思:བྷྱོཿ) or hum (藏文,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and hrih (藏文,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍) with good-smelling incense. Bless it by reciting the near-heart mantra. When sketching, it is desirable to draw a little with charcoal made from corpses. But it is not absolutely necessary. It is said that making the image about one cubit in size is symbolic. It is not unacceptable to be smaller or larger than that. At this time, if the Dharma King is practiced in union with the consort, then images of both the father and mother are needed. If practiced like the Yama siblings, it is acceptable to make separate images. It is also acceptable to draw them on one, but the father should be like the Abhisamaya. Chamundi (藏文) Father does not sit on the seat, but draws the seat on the ground to the side in any of the right, left, or lower directions. The left leg is extended. Some think that there is no animal seat, while others think that a buffalo seat is also acceptable. Chamundi (藏文) is dwelling on a corpse seat. However, here it is praised to practice as father and mother, so at that time, the father's seat is a buffalo, and the father and mother sit side by side, and the mother's foot is also extended to the right. Although there is no actual drawing or contemplation of union, the posture of the feet in that way actually symbolizes union. Here the Lama said, if the protectors of the monastery and the Sangha, the retinue who uphold the teachings, are practiced as one's own deity, then it must be practiced according to the way of the field owner. It is said that in the mantra of this practice, it is also said "क्षेत्रपाल" (藏文,梵文天城体:क्षेत्रपाल,梵文罗马拟音:kṣetrapāla,汉语字面意思:Field Owner). Since it is said that the Yama executioner of the eight field owners has a terrifying face, it is a secret instruction to make the action Yama with a buffalo face. If only practicing activities such as manifestation through wheels, etc., then a buffalo face is not absolutely necessary. When connecting the images of the seven cognitions, it is said to be a wrathful face. The secret instruction at that time is similar to the appearance of a wrathful face. Although there is no clear explanation from this cognition itself, there are two possible directions of derivation. It seems that no clever person other than our lineage of Lamas has understood it.

So, what is the reason for practicing the Field Lord? The name Field Lord alone should make it clear. The greatest benefactor of the Buddha's teachings is the Protector, and all Protectors are Field Lords. Here, too, the practice is performed according to the tradition of Yama, the Great Black Protector. Generally speaking, Field Lords do not encompass all Protectors, but all Protectors encompass Field Lords. Therefore, when practicing Field Lord, a mask is definitely required for Tagala. In the play of the great mandala, the Field Lord of the cemetery is like that, and here, using it as the basis for practice is the oral instruction of the lama. Others say that this is to make the faces of the yidam protectors match, which is nonsense. As for erecting the lingam, other practices do not require it, but this is the tradition of practicing Yama himself as inseparable from the Khenla Protector, as one entity. The necessity is that if a little bit of the key point of the oral instruction is added, two deities can be accomplished with one practice, so it is easy to practice. Moreover, if a little bit of oral instruction is added on top of that, when the practitioner himself practices as a protector, he can incidentally recite the mantra to subdue, as my lama said. Others do not understand this point either. If one wants to be naked, one should hold a staff, because concealment is not allowed, so one should think so, but this scripture does not say that one is naked either. Nor is nakedness prohibited. If the signs are not displayed, then wrap the lower body with tiger skin. The text says, "Without ornaments, holding a bone garland," some say that there are no other ornaments besides the skull rosary, and some think that there are no ornaments at all, etc., but here the meaning of no ornaments is that there are no gorgeous ornaments such as jewels and flowers. This is also said from the perspective of fierce activities. Other peaceful deities have no ornaments, or have exquisite jewel ornaments; increasing deities have many jewel ornaments; subjugating deities have flowers, etc., and it is not contradictory to wear corresponding silk clothes for these. "Bone garland" refers to both the head garland and real bone ornaments. Tiger skin and snakes, etc., are also not prohibited. Regarding the consort, various things such as cowhide and black clothes appear in the texts of the oral instructions, but horns
