Those have various colors, And faces of various kinds. There are tigers, lions, vultures, cows, monkeys, parrots, geese, and human faces, etc. In some places of that river, there are banyan trees that grow from stones, with branches spreading to the opposite bank. The practitioner should travel by relying on those trees. Or, one should travel by the strength of fish. Near that area, there are many small red mountains called Lohita. On those mountains, red rice, mung beans, and manruva grow without being cultivated. After taking them, cook them into tsampa, and also take the many honeys that fall from the trees around. Mix them together, and thoroughly bless and purify them with the noble mantra called "Treasure of the Sky," and offer this mantra's torma to the fish. Om Mam Mam Mam Mam Mam Mata Sya Raja, Mata Sya Gana Sahi Ha Bhunjza Ho Bhaksha Ho. Sarva Maha Sya Devata Imam Balim Grihna Grihna Kara Kara, Kiri Kiri Kuru Kuru Mara Mara Miri Miri Muru Muru. Mama Katyam Sadhaya. Sarva Buddhya Ajnapayati Svaha. In this way, offer the torma five hundred times, and pray to the desired deity. Then, the king of the fish will come before the practitioner, and the practitioner will say, "Hey, King of Fish! For the benefit of all sentient beings, I am going to the city of Kalapa. Please ferry me across the river. This place is under the dominion of the Tathagatas." After saying this, the king of the fish will carry the practitioner on his back and go to the other side of the river. The path from the north side of the Kakar snow mountain to this river is not inhabited by humans. Non-humans and fierce, unbearable yakshas dwell there. However, beyond five hundred yojanas to the east and west of these paths, there are also villages, cities, and towns. But if one goes from those paths, even after a hundred years, one will not reach the city of Kalapa, but will wander around everywhere. The entire northern boundary of the Sita River is a range of snowy mountains.
