Therefore, it should not be combined in that way. The four such as the three wheels are the four mindfulnesses, starting from the irreversible desire-determination miraculous foot, to the good intention of right speech are the four miraculous feet, five faculties, five powers, seven branches of enlightenment, and three noble paths need to be combined. The remaining eight branches are, the four noble paths and the four right abandonments, the four demons' severance of the single-flavored Madhyamaka, combined with right concentration. The twenty-four such as the four miraculous feet are combined with the ten grounds and so on. The latter four noble paths and four abandonments are drinking and near-drinking. If combined with the thirteenth concentration ground, it is consistent with the tantric texts such as the General Conduct Manifestation. The thirteenth ground here is the path of seeing, therefore, it also conforms to the general saying that all bodhi-partisans are obtained in the path of seeing. Because it is the bodhi-partisans of the purification of the internal channels, there is no fault even if it does not conform to the general order. The fourteenth question, the great Khenpo Shantarakshita, seems to be a disciple of Yeshe Zhap, which is recorded in the Ba Xie. If Yeshe Zhap is confirmed to be a disciple of Sengzang, then how could Sengzang be a disciple of Shantarakshita? The answer is that Shantarakshita's disciple is Sengzang, which is clearly recorded in the Extensive Commentary on the Eight Thousand Verses. Yeshe Zhap is his disciple, which is recorded in the Manjushri Face Instruction. Khenpo Bodhisattva is also certainly a disciple of Yeshe Zhap, because he is long-lived, and Yeshe Zhap is a greater mantra master than Khenpo himself. It is not contradictory to appear as a disciple, but it is necessary to examine whether the author of the Ornament of the Middle Way and the great Khenpo are the same person. The fifteenth question is, where exactly is the Heshang's view wrong? If it is wrong because it is not grasped by practice, then it should be refuted from the aspect of practice, it seems unreasonable to say that the view is wrong. The answer is that, in general, the path of sudden enlightenment, it is said that it was pioneered by Heshang Mahayana in Tibet. In China, there were also about twenty-five great Khenpos of sudden enlightenment before that, and the Meditation Eye Lamp of Snu says that their roots are also in India. According to the understanding of their system.

The view of that place is: it is in accordance with the old Prasangikas. The view of practice is: it only praises the cessation of attention. During practice, not only is individual discriminating wisdom not needed, but it is also regarded as a fault in practice. The conduct is: it is repeatedly said that pure morality must be maintained, so there is no error in the aspect of preventing misdeeds. The actions of body, speech, and mind do not need to exert the skill of virtuous actions, and although compassion and faith, etc., are not prevented afterwards, during meditative equipoise, merely not focusing on sentient beings is compassion, and merely not focusing on Buddhas, etc., is said to be faith, etc. In short, apart from the way in which everything is complete in non-objectification, considering the practice of those individual characteristics as a fault, I wonder if one will lose the accumulation of merit and Dharma. The result is also explained as merely the arising of benefit for others in the appearance of other, from the exhaustion of all objects. This seems to be clearly seen in the eighty sutras he composed and in Snubs's "Lamp for Contemplation." On this, Kamalaśīla said: By abandoning individual discrimination, the wisdom that realizes emptiness will be abandoned, and by abandoning virtuous actions, skillful means will also be abandoned. Because both skillful means and wisdom are abandoned, let alone Buddhahood, even liberation will not be attained. If there is no individual discriminating wisdom, one cannot even enter into non-objectification, etc. Therefore, it seems to be said that because there is no individual discriminating wisdom, the view and practice are wrong, and because one has not strived to perform virtuous actions, the conduct is also wrong. Among the Tibetans who appeared in the later propagation of the doctrine, there are two schools: one that only favors calm abiding, and one that only favors insight. The latter relies on the words of Kamalaśīla and considers all non-conceptual meditation by beginners to be wrong. Some of the former say that Hwa-shang is merely stopping attention, and because they do not recognize clear and empty self-awareness, the view is wrong. Some Mahamudra practitioners say: Hwa-shang is stopping all attention and conceptual thoughts, so it is wrong, but we carry all arising conceptual thoughts into the path without acceptance or rejection, so it is not wrong. Although I do not know exactly what school of Hwa-shang they are talking about, I think it must be a bad school, just seeing or hearing a few words.
