. That which is not confused is Dharma. Whatever is Dharma, that is what the Tathagata has manifestly, completely, and perfectly awakened to. Whatever the Tathagata has manifestly, completely, and perfectly awakened to, that is the truth. Son of good family, whatever is the truth, that is existence. Whatever is existence, that is non-false. Whatever is non-false, that is reality. Whatever is reality, that is the nature of Dharma. Whatever is the nature of Dharma, that is non-conceptual, completely non-conceptual. Whatever is non-conceptual, completely non-conceptual, that is wisdom. Thus, and so on, it is extensively taught. That nature of Dharma is free from things, and it is also the actual state of how things abide. It is non-confusion, that is, non-destruction, and it is the actual Buddha that those who seek to attain Buddhahood are to attain. It is true establishment, it is existence, and it is wisdom. It is said that "the imputed absence of self-nature" transcends the realm of sound and conception, and "the non-imputed absence of self-nature" means that it is not a mixture of sound and meaning, nor is it present as a nature appearing to consciousness. This is the negation of the characteristics of the completely imputed and the dependent. Among these, the characteristic of the completely imputed is that all false conventional truths are, whether they appear as grasping and being grasped at a distance, or as appearances where object and mind are distinct, appearances where name and meaning appear to be related, and minds that coarsely grasp beings, animals, mountains, houses, and so on, as well as all conceptual constructs of imputation. In short, all objects of grasping of the modes of grasping of conceptual thought, although they actually appear to consciousness, are distinctions that appear from the habits of dualistic conception. Although they are not actually established by conceptual thoughts with sound and meaning, they appear as external objects. This is the actual completely imputed that is to be imputed. The imputor is the grasping conceptual thought. Although the nature of that conceptual thought itself is dependent, the part of knowledge that changes in the form of imputation is also completely imputed. The characteristic of the dependent is that it is only related to the appearance of the completely imputed. The basis for the appearance of such a nature is merely the consciousness that is the basis, the alaya-consciousness that holds the mind. The appearance of various appearances arises from the dependence on habits, and since the consciousness itself is formed from beginningless habits, other habits
