There is, that is, being ground by the burning iron mountain, being sawn by the thirty-two-toothed saw, having the head ground into powder by the burning iron hammer, elephants coming from all four directions, grinding like grinding rice flour. These are also successively throwing stones to attack the teacher, creating division in the Sangha, killing the Arhat Utpalavarna, and the karmic result of cursing the teacher Norkyong. Later, when prophesied to be a Pratyekabuddha, it was said, "Then during that time, one must endure the suffering of Avici Hell." It is said so. Kokalika's tongue was plowed by a hundred plows, and Brahma urged him to develop faith in one of the two supreme ones, but he did not listen. At that time, seeing the two supreme ones, he generated hatred, saying, "These two sinners will come even if I fall into hell." As soon as he said this, his tongue was plowed by plows. When Light Protector went to the abode of the Perfected One, he prostrated at the feet of the two supreme ones and said, "I used to speak false Dharma, and now my tongue is plowed by five hundred plows. If the disciples in the human realm talk about this, the suffering will be even more intense." Etc. Although this part about going to inspect hell is a later matter, it is narrated here because it is closely related to history. The fourth chapter, the road to Vaisali, is: When the teacher went to Rajagriha, the spirits that spread the plague moved to Vaisali, so there was an unbearable great plague there. The priest of the Licchavis of Vaisali, named Arrow Shaft, in a dream, the deity prophesied, "If the Blessed One goes to Vaisali, the plague will be pacified." He told the people of Vaisali and discussed who to send as an envoy, so they sent the priest Arrow Shaft himself. He said, "Will Ajatashatru kill me?" The assembly said, "In no country is an envoy killed." He went to Rajagriha, went before the Blessed One, and requested the Tathagata to go to Vaisali. The Blessed One said, "Inform the king, if he allows it, I will go." He conveyed it to the Licchavis, and they said, "You yourself should request it." So at that time, Arrow Shaft requested Ajatashatru, and the king there Vaisali

If it's empty, my thought will be completed when I'm young. 'No,' he scolded with harsh words. The great arrow was also driven out of the palace, and when he began to return to Vaishali, the wise ministers said, 'Please stay for a while. We will pray to the gods.' Having said that, they went to the king and said, 'Whether the king gives this matter or not, the Blessed One, with great compassion, will not abandon a single sentient being, and will surely go to Vaishali.' After reporting this, the king said, 'Then give a corner.' Then, when that person came before the king, the king said, 'Now a vow must be made. If you serve as I do, I will give it.' That person conveyed this to the Licchavis, who replied, 'The king is only one, but we are a gathering, so why not do it?' Then, the king offered the rear umbrella to the Blessed One and his retinue, and reported, 'This Naga Sogma Me, we have no blood feud, but he creates blood feud, please subdue him.' The Blessed One agreed. At that time, the Teacher said to Ananda, 'Ananda, in the north there are flowers, fruits, and abundant water, food is easy to obtain, and the people are upright, there are these five benefits. From here, we will go north to subdue Sogma Me.' So he spoke. Then, King Ajatasatru decorated all the roads from Rajagrha to the Ganges very beautifully. When the people of Vaishali heard this, they decorated the roads on the north bank of the Ganges even more beautifully. Then, the Blessed One arrived at the city of Nada in Magadha. There, there was a man named the Wandering Reed Merchant, who was one hundred and twenty years old and was revered as an Arhat. A friend of his, a deva, thought, 'If this person could be ordained in the presence of the Buddha, but he won't listen, I must find a way.' It's like saying, 'Ask these four questions with your mind, and follow the one who knows.' He also went to the six teachers, including Purana Kassapa, and asked questions with his mind. If he didn't even understand the questions, how could there be an answer? At that time, he thought, 'I will visit the Teacher for a while.'
