Namo Guru Bhyaḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,namo guru bhyaḥ,Homage to the Gurus). Namo Bhaṭṭāraka Siṃhanāda Devabhyaḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,namo bhaṭṭāraka siṃhanāda devabhyaḥ,Homage to the Holy Lion's Roar Deities). Taking refuge in the Three Jewels three times. The four immeasurables are in accordance with the common practice. Purify into emptiness with Śūnyatā. From within emptiness, on top of a red lotus. From the syllable 'Ming' arises a white lion in a reclining posture, head facing to the right. Face upwards, with reddish-yellow hair hanging down, covered with a net of jewels. From 'A' arises a moon disc with a white Hrīḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,hrīḥ,Hrih). Light radiates forth. Offerings to the noble ones. Purify the sins and obscurations of sentient beings. Establish them in the state of noble Avalokiteśvara. Drawing back, the Hrīḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,hrīḥ,Hrih) dissolves, completely transforming into oneself as the noble Lion's Roar, body color white, one face, two arms, the right hand in the gesture of granting boons, extended over the right knee. The left hand rests on the cushion behind. Possessing three eyes. With a topknot of matted hair. The left leg extended, seated in the posture of royal ease. Abandoning ornaments, possessing the characteristics of an ascetic. Possessing the Brahmanical thread. Wearing a red silk skirt. Covering the left breast with a black deer skin. On the right side of the body is a green trident entwined with a white snake. On the left side, on a lotus, is a skull filled with various flowers. The stem of a white lotus opens directly beside the ear, upon which is a flaming sword of wisdom. On the forehead is Oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,oṃ,Om). At the throat is Āḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,āḥ,Ah). At the heart is Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,hūṃ,Hum). In the center of the heart is a moon disc with Hrīḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,hrīḥ,Hrih), from which light radiates forth. The noble Lion's Roar is surrounded by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Oṃ Vajra Samājaḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,vajra samājaḥ,Vajra Assembly). Offer as above. Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ. Again, light radiates forth. The deities of empowerment, the five victorious ones, Vajra Samājaḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,vajra samājaḥ,Vajra Assembly). Offer with Oṃ Pañca Kula Sapariwara Argham, etc. I beseech all the Tathāgatas to grant me empowerment. Having made this supplication. The deities of empowerment say: Just as at the moment of birth. From 'Just as at the moment of birth'. Reciting 'Śrī Ye Hūṃ'. Empowering with the water of the vase, filling the body. Purifying impurities, the remaining water overflows upwards. Transforming into Amitābha.

Adorned with a peaceful and wrathful deity as a crown, with Vairochana at the crown of the head, Akshobhya on the right shoulder, Amitabha on the left, Ratnasambhava on the right hip, and Amoghasiddhi on the left, all of these emanate immeasurable manifestations and abide. Clearly establish the recitation and visualization, and recite: Om Ah Hrih Siddha Nada Hum Phet Om Ah Hrih Siddha Nada Hum Phet). This is the heart mantra. Homage to the Triple Gem Homage to the Triple Gem), homage to Arya Avalokiteshvara (藏文:ན་མཿཨཱཪྱ་ཨ་ཝ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ་ཤྭ་རཱ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:namaḥ ārya avalokiteśvarāya,汉语字面意思:Homage to Arya Avalokiteshvara), Bodhisattva (藏文:བོ་དྷི་སཏྭཱ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:bodhisattvāya,汉语字面意思:Bodhisattva), Mahasattva (藏文:མཧཱ་ས་ཏྭཱཡ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:mahāsattvāya,汉语字面意思:Mahasattva), Mahakarunika (藏文:མཧཱ་ཀ་རུ་ཎི་ཀཱ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:mahākaruṇikāya,汉语字面意思:Great Compassionate One). It is said: Om Akate Vikate Nikate Katam Kate Karote Karote Vidye Svaha It is said: Om Akate Vikate Nikate Katam Kate Karote Karote Vidye Svaha). This is the dharani, recite as much as possible. Finally, dissolve the deity into emptiness and rest in equanimity in emptiness. Then, again, with the pride of the deity, dedicate the merit and conclude the session. For this, if one offers to the wisdom being of the self-generation deity and requests them to come and go, it is merely done out of attachment to sectarian bias. Even in the old oral instructions, this is not present, nor is it actually necessary. Regarding the initiation ritual, if it is done in accordance with the tradition of Naropa's oral instructions, then the other will be obtained as a side benefit, so it should be done in that way. Create an eight-petaled white lotus mandala, and arrange a vase in any direction in accordance with the general practice. Prepare appropriate offerings and torma. Since the self-generation deity comes first, bless the offerings as usual. Purify and cleanse the mandala and vase in front. From emptiness, on top of the mandala and inside the vase, from the syllable "Pam" (藏文:པཾ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:paṃ,汉语字面意思:Pam) onwards, up to the crown ornament, offer with argham and so on up to shapta as before. On the fearless and unobstructed lion throne, in the pure and bright beautiful lunar disc, the body color is white and clear like a pile of snow mountains, I prostrate to the venerable Lion's Roar! Averter of the armies of demons. With red eyes, adorned with marks and signs, the Dharmakaya is emptiness like the sky, the Rupakaya manifests in any way for the benefit of beings, Hero Lion's Roar... (repeat). The right hand holds a trident, entwined with a royal serpent, the left hand holds a skull cup and a blazing sword, Bestowing accomplishment and wisdom upon practitioners, Holy and supreme being, to you... (repeat). From the body emanate the five Tathagatas, the master Amitabha adorns the head, by gazing with three eyes, pacifying suffering, Venerable compassionate one... (repeat). This life and
