Furthermore, in dreams, the divine forms fill the sky, with one not obscuring the other. All of these are without attachment to bliss, clear without conceptualization, and appearing without inherent existence, manifesting with three characteristics. At that time, the virtuous practice of self-purifying illusion in dreams reaches its culmination. Moreover, what is called illusion is the power of cultivating the intention of non-reality in waking and dreaming, perceiving objects without any clinging, and appearing equally without high or low. To be free from clinging to illusion means having a thought like, "All of this is just an illusory appearance, what is there to cling to?" This thought also vanishes, thereby freeing oneself from clinging to affirmation and negation. At that time, without any thought, the taste of experiential bliss naturally arises, and this is luminosity. This is called Mahamudra, because it is the nature of the mind. Furthermore, from that state, the divine forms naturally appear as clear emptiness, and this is also called Mahamudra. Without attachment to bliss means that when the divine forms naturally appear in dreams, both body and mind clearly experience bliss, but there is no arrogance or conceit, and no craving for bliss. Therefore, there is no liking or disliking whether bliss arises or not. Clear without conceptualization means that the forms of the divine bodies appear very clearly, but that is a natural appearance, without the effort of conceptual thought. Appearance without inherent existence means that the general saying "appearing but empty of truth" also applies here. However, here it refers to the simultaneous appearance of body and mind, as well as the appearances of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch. In awareness, only the self-luminous one flavor appears equally, and apart from that, one experiences that there are no different things in the individual appearances. This is the thirty-eighth point of contemplation. In these moments of dreaming, the key instructions for cutting through extremes are also very important. The extensive explanation of cutting through extremes is as shown elsewhere, so it is not explained within the scope of the guidance. The essential oral instructions for cutting through extremes, known as "Oral Instructions of the Heart Essence," are explained in detail elsewhere. Sixth, establishing the nature of objects: For those of superior faculties, clear knowing without clinging; for those of intermediate faculties, clear seeing of whatever is thought; for those of inferior faculties, mind and body flying in the sky; for those of lesser faculties, clinging to the object of focus. There are four types. First, clear knowing without clinging means that during the practice, even without effort, the hidden

All things are seen both in the daytime when awake and at all times during nighttime dreams. The intermediate, clear seeing of whatever is thought of, is that all the things one desires during the day are seen effortlessly and spontaneously appearing at night. The last, the mind-body flying in the sky, is that the preliminaries are the same as the others, and one prays to stabilize the appearance of the realm. The actual object of focus is: "Tonight, may I see a Buddha-field like this, or may I see such a hidden place." One makes this wish strongly. Then, thinking it is a real dream, one visualizes oneself as the clear form of the yidam, or one can emanate in another bodily form, and by flying in the sky, one thinks of going to that place and seeing all the things that need to be seen. This will also happen in nighttime dreams. Here, the "mind-body flying in the sky," the flying in the sky is just the meaning of flying in the sky, but some explain that flying in the sky is to emanate as a garuda-like bird and go. The thirty-ninth contemplation. The fourth is that the instructions for the appearance of the realm contemplated by the inferior are three: the selflessness-mother realm appearance made clear, the A realm appearance made clear, and the bindu realm appearance made clear. The first is: the preliminaries are the same as before. Below one's navel, there is a skull of light nature, white on the outside and red on the inside. Inside it are Om (ཨོཾ་, Sanskrit: ओम्, oṃ, perfection), Ah (ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit: आः, āḥ, arising), and Svaha (སྭཱཧཱ།, Sanskrit: स्वाहा, svāhā, accomplishment). The color is blue, radiating various rays of light. From that, rays of light radiate, filling the dharmadhatu and one's own body. They radiate from the pores of the hair. The outer world is the palace, and the inner sentient beings are visualized as yidams. From the tips of the rays of light, countless offerings are emanated. One visualizes offering to all the yidam deities who have been abiding from the beginning and who have newly gone. All that appears as form is the deity's form, all that sounds is mantra, and all that is thought of is remembered as illusion and dream. Again, the rays of light gather back and dissolve into the mantra syllables at the navel. That itself becomes the form of the venerable Vajra Nairatmya. The sound of the mantra is diri ri. Offerings are made. One prays to stabilize the appearance of the realm. This is the daytime contemplation, which is a definite oral instruction. Another way of abiding is that from the mantra, rays of light are emanated many times, and various yidams headed by Nairatmya arise. The second is to emanate and make offerings. Before
