念诵两次度母咒,以及嘟答ra(藏文:ཏུཏྟཱ་ར,梵文天城体:तुत्तारे,梵文罗马拟音:tuttāre,汉语字面意思:嘟答ra)咒语,能息灭一切极度猛烈、难以治愈之瘟疫。 暂时而言,十字母咒能平息瘟疫,断除传染病,并守护传染之人。 究竟之要义乃是,念诵十字母咒,能平息一切如猛烈瘟疫般之烦恼。 此处将双目比作日月,乃因右眼之光能令近害者恐惧,焚烧罪恶与痛苦,故如太阳般发光;而左眼之光,为求寿命、受用与安乐,故能降下甘露,乃月亮之光。 “念诵两次度母”之语,乃是识别度母二字与嘟答ra(藏文:ཏུཏྟཱ་ར,梵文天城体:तुत्तारे,梵文罗马拟音:tuttāre,汉语字面意思:嘟答ra),即前文所说之十字母语。 因此,如广为人知之“嗡 达咧 嘟达咧 嘟咧 梭哈(藏文:ཨོཾ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སྭཱཧཱ,梵文天城体:ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā,汉语字面意思:嗡 达咧 嘟达咧 嘟咧 梭哈)”一般。

Thus, those and the powerful non-humans rely with reverence on the lotus feet of you. The armor of mantra and mudra blessed by the goddess, the cause of joy and happiness, by the practitioner who is fully endowed with it, can eliminate all discord such as disputes beyond the glory of body, speech, and mind, and bad dreams. Here, armor means protection. In the ultimate sense, the goddess comes from the word deva (Tibetan: ལྷ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: देव, Sanskrit Romanization: deva, Chinese literal meaning: god), meaning "deha bhava" (Sanskrit Devanagari: देह भव, Sanskrit Romanization: deha bhava, Chinese literal meaning: born from the body), which is the body of wisdom. The mention of "assembly" means that this body of wisdom also possesses many pure dharmas such as aggregates and realms. She is also the king of vidyadharas and is worthy of offering in the three realms, therefore she is relied upon by gods and non-humans, etc. The reason for this is that with the unchanging glory of the assembly of bindus constantly held, it can destroy the disputes of attachment and aversion of change, as well as ordinary appearances and bad dreams. In the twentieth verse, "Homage to the sun-faced one," etc., the two eyes, like the light of the sun and moon, greatly increasing, with the extremely clear gaze of the blazing light of the other shore, when fully seeing beings, can place all suffering beings such as those in the lower realms in happiness. Reciting the Tara mantra twice, along with the tuttare (Tibetan: ཏུཏྟཱ་ར, Sanskrit Devanagari: तुत्तारे, Sanskrit Romanization: tuttāre, Chinese literal meaning: tuttare) mantra, can also eliminate all extremely fierce and difficult-to-cure epidemics. Temporarily, the ten-syllable mantra can pacify epidemics, cut off infectious diseases, and protect those who are infected. The main point of the ultimate meaning is that reciting the ten-syllable mantra can pacify all afflictions like fierce epidemics. Here, comparing the two eyes to the sun and moon is because the light of the right eye can frighten those who are close to harm, and burn away sins and suffering, so it shines like the sun; while the light of the left eye, in order to strive for life, enjoyment, and happiness, can bestow nectar, which is the light of the moon. The phrase "reciting Tara twice" identifies the two syllables of Tara and tuttare (Tibetan: ཏུཏྟཱ་ར, Sanskrit Devanagari: तुत्तारे, Sanskrit Romanization: tuttāre, Chinese literal meaning: tuttare), which is the ten-syllable speech mentioned earlier. Therefore, like the widely known "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཏཱ་རེ་ཏུཏྟཱ་རེ་ཏུ་རེ་སྭཱཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā, Chinese literal meaning: Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha)."

Alas! These are the mantras for the peaceful, increasing, and subjugating activities of Tara. The hidden meaning is: the sun and moon represent the two inner essences of semen and blood. The eyes that are completely filled with them are the two ends of the central channel, above and below. From this, wisdom arises, so it is radiant. The two "Taras" mean deliverance, delivering from the extremes of existence and peace through bliss and emptiness. "Tuttara" is suffering, that is, asceticism, pressing the sun on the throat and drawing the moon to the crown. This immutable asceticism can eliminate the plague of semen transfer. In the twenty-one verses of praise, such as "Homage to the one with three eyes," there are four meanings: literal, common, hidden, and ultimate. The first is: with the three natures of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, the minds of those to be tamed are truly established. Through this power, all obscurations are abandoned, and they are established in peace, that is, they are fully endowed with the power to ripen and liberate those to be tamed. Ghosts refer to the eighteen types of ghosts, such as Namru ghosts. Corpses refer to the activities of corpses, that is, evil spells such as curses. Yakshas refer to the harm of those who steal radiance. All such harms are destroyed by the three doors of liberation, and this is also done by the power of the mantra "Most Excellent." Alternatively, "Tara" means swift, and the most excellent goddess, you swiftly destroy all harm. It can also be interpreted as "the most excellent one who swiftly destroys," and it would be easier to understand if it were modified in this way. The second common meaning is: in the meditation of visualizing the body of Tara, establishing the three syllables in the three places becomes pacification, becoming the most excellent protector of obstacles, and also shows the oral instructions for protecting against the harm of ghosts, etc. The third hidden meaning is: the three natures are appearance, increase, and near attainment. Establishing them in order, starting from the east, pacification, that is, the fourth instant, all is empty, radiant, and approaching. Ghosts are the channels, corpses are the bindus, and yakshas are the conceptual thoughts, destroyed from the realm of radiant light. From the most excellent, the divine body arises swiftly.
