May you be separated from the cause of suffering! May you not be separated from the happiness without suffering! May you abide in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion to near and far! Accumulation of merit! Then, the accumulation of wisdom: Meditate on emptiness and bless with this mantra: Oṃ śūnyatājñānavajrasvabhāva Ātmako'haṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏཱ་ཛྙཱ་ན་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ शून्यताज्ञानवज्रस्वभाव आत्माकोऽहम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ śūnyatājñānavajrasvabhāva ātmako'ham, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, emptiness wisdom vajra nature, I am). Thus it is said. Then, meditate on the protection wheel: From emptiness, from the letter "པཾ" arises a lotus, and from the letter "རཾ" arises a solar disc. Above that, from the letter "ཧཱུཾ" arises a twelve-layered multicolored vajra fence. East is white, south is yellow, west is red, north is green, and the center is dark blue, marked with the letter "ཧཱུཾ". From the letter "ཧཱུཾ" radiate rays of light in the ten directions. Below is a vajra foundation, around it is a vajra fence, above is a vajra tent, and all around is filled with the blazing fire of wisdom. Oṃ vajra rakṣa rakṣa hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་རཀྵ་རཀྵ་ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ་སྭཱཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र रक्ष रक्ष हुं हुं हुं फट् स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra rakṣa rakṣa hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, vajra protect protect hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ svāhā). Recite three times. The actual protection wheel is sufficient with just that. If you want to elaborate or perform repulsion, then do it like this: In the center of the multicolored vajra, from the letter "པཾ" arises a lotus, and from the letter "རཾ" arises a solar disc. From the yellow letter "བྷྲུཾ" arises a yellow ten-spoked wheel, with sharp points, an empty interior, wide and vast, without any gaps. Recite three times. In the center of the wheel and in the ten directions, there is a lotus and a solar disc each. On the central solar disc is the yellow letter "བྷྲུཾ", and on the solar discs in the ten directions is a letter "ཧཱུཾ" each. Among them, the south is white, the west is red, and all the others are blue. After all these have transformed, in the center is oneself, the Crown Wheel-Turning King, yellow, holding a wheel. In the east is the Yama Destroyer, black, holding a mallet. In the south is the Wisdom Destroyer, white, holding an arrow. In the west is the Lotus Destroyer, red, holding a lotus. In the north is the Obstacle Destroyer, blue-green, holding a vajra. In the northeast is Achala, blue-gray, holding a sword. In the southeast is the King of Desire, blue, holding an iron hook. In the southwest is the Blue Staff Holder, blue, holding a wooden staff. In the northwest is the Great Powerful One, smoky black, holding a trident. Above is the Hūṃ Maker, blue, holding a vajra and a bell in his own mudra at his heart. Below is Harm Beauty, dark blue, holding a stake.
