Having been made into a category, it applies to all demons and spirits in general. Here, it refers to the ultimate of all demons of the three realms. Even more important than the chief is the fierce, powerful, terrifying great lord, who is the lord of Yama, the chief of the Rakshasas, the master of the Yakshas, and the protector of beings. He is the lord of all male demons, and the night of time is also the chief of all mothers, Dakinis, flesh-eating mothers, and assembly-enjoying mothers. Although these two are gods when divided according to the six realms, they are called pretas because they are the most powerful and ultimately unbearable of all demons. Furthermore, preta is Yama, which also applies to all killers. Whoever has hatred and harmful thoughts falls into the hands of the fierce one. Whatever desire and longing there is, all of that is crushed by the teeth of the night of time. Therefore, it is said in the root tantra: The great preta is made into a seat. And it is said in the Abhisamayalankara: Surrounded by a garland of outer pretas. This means that the great demons are suppressed by the feet, and the assembly of Yamas dwells in the surroundings. To explain these as a great corpse and a garland of corpses is truly a laughing matter. Therefore, by suppressing the chief of the demons underfoot and making them into a seat, it can be understood that all demons, without exception, are subdued. All four faces have three eyes, and the redness of "very red" indicates the color of the mother's body, or it means having an amorous demeanor. Therefore, the body of Vajravarahi, who has a very amorous appearance, is embraced by the two root hands of the Bhagavan, and the other two hands below that hold the elephant-headed lord, that is, the skin of the elephant-headed Ganapati, which has been immediately peeled off, holding the new elephant skin. Another translation says: Stretched out the skin of the great elephant lord. If it agrees with the Sanskrit, that is good, it is easy to understand. Of the remaining four left hands, the third holds a khatvanga, the fourth holds a hook, the fifth holds a skull cup filled with blood, and the sixth holds the head of Brahma. The remaining right

Homage to Heruka, who holds a curved knife with the sixth finger of his hand, a trident with the fifth, a battle-ax with the fourth, and a small hand drum with the third. The "He" in Heruka means Heru-hetu, which means emptiness that is free from causes and has abandoned birth and death. Ru in Rupa means form or structure, which is free from the aggregation of dwelling and destruction. Ka in Kasthana means free from dwelling, not dwelling on any extreme of permanence and annihilation, samsara and nirvana, existence and non-existence. Shri is the non-dual wisdom, the ultimate object of desire for all beings. Auspiciousness, that is, the non-dual primordial wisdom, has no three aspects of arising, ceasing, and dwelling, and is liberated from the extremes of permanence and annihilation. Primordial liberation is one meaning of the name Heruka. Also, Ru is Rudhira, meaning blood, He is Hela, meaning play, and Ka means the male who plays. Therefore, all the great ones of the past translated it as blood-drinker. Although some scholars say that such a translation is not good, in the five stages of the Vajra Bell Tantra, it is also said: "Destroying the darkness of ignorance, the Lord Bhagavan will appear, entwined with a garland of fierce flames, the name Heruka is widely known, in the co-emergent charnel ground, playing and destroying all the demons, the supreme of all bliss, is offered at that moment." This explains the offering of the blood of great bliss arising from defeating the four demons, so translating it as blood-drinker is also good. Some people think that "Ka" is an explanation of Kapala, but it is better to follow the usual explanation. Similarly, the name Vajravarahi is derived from the word Varahi. In the explanation of vows, it is said: "The sound of Va is beyond speech, Ra is completely abandoning defilements, He is completely destroying all causes, and it is fully proclaimed in the sound of the sow." After saying this, "The letter Va is Vak, which is beyond the realm of speech, the letter Ra is Rahita, which is separation or abandonment, which is free from all defilements. The letter Hi is transformed into the letter He by the power of merit, Heru is the cause, which is the emptiness of abandoning all causes. Because great bliss alone appears as endless forms such as the wheel of the mandala, its nature is beyond the realm of expression, and it itself is the conventional samsara.
