Some places, in the future, may or may not appear. The appearance of practicing secret mantras is even rarer than that. Who can, for the sake of incomparable beings, not enter Nirvana. In countless eons, whatever sins were committed before, as soon as one sees such a mandala, those will be exhausted. What need to mention those who dwell in the way of practicing mantras with boundless fame? If one recites the secret mantra of protection, one will attain the supreme state. Whoever has steadfast and unwavering wisdom in this supreme practice, he will cut off the evil destinies from which all suffering arises. Great beings, you have gained an incomparable gain today. Because all the great beings, including the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, are embracing you all in this teaching and being born. Therefore, you will be well-born in the Great Vehicle tomorrow. The great arising of the Great Vehicle, this supreme path is auspicious. Because you are digging there, in the great fortune of self-arising, you will become the Tathagata who knows all the worlds. Thus he spoke and explained the meaning. The thirteenth is, dreams. Good or bad, please tell me in detail tomorrow. Thus he said. Tonight, on a cushion of kusha grass, sleep in the lion's posture, with a virtuous mind, so that you will see good and bad omens in dreams. Thus he said. The teacher merely visualized putting two armors on the bodies of the disciples, then dedicated the merit and sent the disciples back to their places. If the disciple or teacher has bad dreams, the method of dispelling them is: subduing obstacles with a phurba, performing peaceful or wrathful fire pujas, performing the ritual of a great torma, and so on. If one cannot do those, one should dispel them by knowing them as illusory. In this tradition, the preparation of the vase is: merely gathering the implements of the vase, so rituals and the like are not required. The fifth is drawing images, which is also called the daily activity of the mandala. This includes establishing the three lines, separating the colors, and placing the ornaments and implements. The first is, on the very day of the preparatory day, if you do this, take a new self-generation.

Although not necessary, since it is done daily with the intention of all mandala rituals, here one should meditate on any of the expanded or condensed self-generation that includes the body mandala. On the mandala ground, sprinkle with fragrant water recited with Sumba (Tibetan: སུམྦྷ་), visualizing oneself and the main companion as father and mother. Gather the thread with five fives, twenty-five, and surround it with offering torma. Bless the offerings, purify the heart channel. From emptiness, in the center, from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) arises Akṣobhya, body color blue, holding vajra and bell, embracing the consort Māmakī. In the east, from Bhruṃ (Tibetan: བྲུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रुं, Sanskrit Romanization: bhruṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Bhruṃ) arises Vairocana, white, holding wheel and bell, embracing the consort Buddhalocanā. In the north, from Aṃ (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Aṃ) arises Ratnasambhava, yellow, holding jewel and bell, embracing the consort Ratnadroṇā. In the west, from Jriṃ (Tibetan: ཛྲིཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्रिं, Sanskrit Romanization: jriṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Jriṃ) arises Amitābha, red, holding lotus and bell, embracing the consort Pāṇḍaravāsinī. In the south, from Khaṃ (Tibetan: ཁཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: खं, Sanskrit Romanization: khaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Khaṃ) arises Amoghasiddhi, green, holding sword and bell, embracing the consort Samayatārā. Vairocana sits on a moon seat, and the others sit on sun seats. The five families have tiger skin lower garments and matted hair. The consorts have body colors similar to the fathers, holding curved knives and skull cups, with hair unbound. All are adorned with bone ornaments. On the forehead Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Oṃ), on the throat Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Āḥ), on the heart Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). From the rays of light of the Hūṃ syllable at one's heart, invite the five wisdom deities in the form of father and mother, Pheiṃ (Tibetan: ཕཻཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फें, Sanskrit Romanization: pheṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Pheiṃ). Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं बं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ), merge inseparably. Purify the torma, bless it with the three syllables, and offer the torma of Hūṃ Bhruṃ Aṃ Jriṃ Khaṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་བྷྲུཾ་ཨཾ་ཛྲིཾ་ཁཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं भ्रुं अं ज्रिं खं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ bhruṃ aṃ jriṃ khaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ Bhruṃ Aṃ Jriṃ Khaṃ). Offer Arghaṃ, etc., up to Shabda. Praise with either the Five Tathāgatas praise or any of the Five Families praise. Among them, the Five Tathāgatas are: Akṣobhya Vajra, great wisdom, Vajradhātu is the great space, Vajra Three Supreme Three Mandalas, Vajra Ḍākinī, I prostrate and praise. Vairocana, greatly pure, Vajra peaceful, great joy, By nature, supremely clear light, Buddha Ḍākinī, I prostrate and praise. Ratna King, exceedingly profound, Vajra sky, immaculate space, By nature pure, without stain, Ratna Ḍākinī, I prostrate and praise.
