Just like this example, the Tathagatagarbha, which is called the union of bliss and emptiness, is also the unchanging bliss. It is also endowed with all perfections. It is like a sapphire. The root of obscurations is the habit of leaking bliss and karmic winds. The gem is covered with dry mud, so nothing can be seen. Meditate on the three immovables through the door of action and binding. This will slightly stop the karmic winds. A little bit of bindu is shown. This is like scraping off the outer layer of soil from one side. Although the essence is all aspects, other aspects are not seen. You will see the form of the bindu rosary. For example, scraping off the mud, you see a gem the size of a needlepoint. Therefore, seeing the bindu rosary is the reason for seeing the Tathagatagarbha. If someone thinks this contradicts the previously established emptiness, form, and consciousness, it is not contradictory. Generally, consciousness and wisdom are like gold and gold rust. The positions are different, but the essence is not different. If you find gold, you find gold rust. Touching gold touches gold rust. Seeing gold also sees gold rust. Therefore, it is the appearance of the Tathagatagarbha, and it is also the appearance of consciousness, which is not contradictory. Just like the minister's servant is also the king's servant. However, in this case, it is like saying that gold is underground, but light is on the ground. Also, if the sunlight is reflected on a mirror and water, although it is said that the light of the mirror and the light of the water eliminate the darkness, in reality it is the sunlight that is reflected on them that eliminates the darkness. Light a candle in the dark. The candle has a lampshade or a lantern covering it. Outside the lampshade, you will see various appearances, which actually come from the lampshade. But from the beginning it is the appearance of the candle, so there is no difference between the appearance of the candle and the appearance of the lampshade.
