It is also permissible to purify with inner offerings. Second, the blessing of offerings is similar to that of accomplishment offerings. Regarding the statement that "the purification should be done with the six-syllable mantra," some consider it to be Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Hoh (藏文:ཧོཿ,梵文天城体:होः,梵文罗马拟音:hoḥ,汉语字面意思:霍), Ham (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:杭), Kshah (藏文:ཀྵཿ,梵文天城体:क्षः,梵文罗马拟音:kṣaḥ,汉语字面意思:啥), while others consider it to be Hram (藏文:ཧྲཱཾ,梵文天城体:ह्रां,梵文罗马拟音:hrāṃ,汉语字面意思:赫朗), Hrim (藏文:ཧྲཱིཾ,梵文天城体:ह्रीं,梵文罗马拟音:hrīṃ,汉语字面意思:赫林), etc. If these are not merely one's own ideas but originate from oral instructions, then it is generally good. However, the commentary states that there is only one mantra explicitly mentioned for purification, and that is, in the context of fire offerings: Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Hra (藏文:ཧྲ,梵文天城体:ह्र,梵文罗马拟音:hra,汉语字面意思:哈), Phat (藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:帕特). Therefore, for the purpose of mere purification, it is not appropriate that only fire offerings should have special characteristics. Since nothing else is mentioned in other contexts, abandoning the one explicitly mentioned and applying many logical arguments to what is not mentioned would turn into "a prostitute winning with lies." Therefore, this is the direct instruction of the tantric commentary and also originates from the oral instructions of the holy gurus of unbroken lineage. Then, why are there only five syllables? Because Pha (藏文:ཕ,梵文天城体:फ,梵文罗马拟音:pha,汉语字面意思:帕) and Ta (藏文:ཊ,梵文天城体:ट,梵文罗马拟音:ṭa,汉语字面意思:特) are separated. Just as in the seventh realization of Manjushri Vajrabhairava, it is said, "The wise should divide into two," meaning that the Pha (藏文:ཕ,梵文天城体:फ,梵文罗马拟音:pha,汉语字面意思:帕) and Ta (藏文:ཊ,梵文天城体:ट,梵文罗马拟音:ṭa,汉语字面意思:特) of Phat (藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:帕特) should be counted separately. Then, one might think, should Ra-tags and Klad-skor, etc., also be counted? Since those are mixed sounds, they should not be counted separately. But since the sounds of Pha (藏文:ཕ,梵文天城体:फ,梵文罗马拟音:pha,汉语字面意思:帕) and Ta (藏文:ཊ,梵文天城体:ट,梵文罗马拟音:ṭa,汉语字面意思:特) are not mixed, it is reasonable to count each letter separately. Offering vessels made of crystal are mentioned in the context of peaceful activities. The root recitation and daily yoga, although not the actual practice of peaceful activities, it is common practice to make them similar to peaceful activities. Third, visualizing the deity mandala of the offering place: After purifying the mandala, from the state of emptiness, the ground is completely purified, and there, visualize all the deities of the self-generation mandala instantaneously arising like reflections. This is sufficient with mere mental visualization. If one desires elaboration, then recite only the heart mantras of the main deities, the father and mother, and the seed syllables of the retinue. This is not like the actual arrival of the deities of the self-generation, nor is it like inviting the wisdom beings of the self-generation with mantras and mudras. There, the reflection of the mandala appears.

Therefore, contemplate the deity as actually appearing. Fourth, inviting the guests: With the vajra gathering mudra, recite "Om Vajra Samajaḥ Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ" (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ ཛཿཧཱུཾ་བཾ་ཧོཿ,梵文天城体:ॐ वज्र समाजः जाः हुं वं होः,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra samājaḥ jāḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra, Assembly, Ja, Hum, Vam, Hoh), requesting all the gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas to come near, and contemplate them residing in a manner that fills the entire expanse of space. Fourth, offering outer offerings: First, the offering of water. During fire offerings, there is the mantra for offering water, "Om Pravara Satkaraṃ Mahārasmi Pratīccha Svāhā" (藏文:ཨོཾ་པྲ་ཝ་ར་སཏྐ་རཾ་མ་ཧཱ་རསྨི་པྲ་ཏཱི་ཙྪ་སྭཱཧཱ།,梵文天城体:ॐ प्रवर सत्करं महारश्मि प्रतीच्छ स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ pravara satkaraṃ mahāraśmi pratīccha svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Excellent, Offering, Great Ray, Receive, Svaha), but it is said that "Mahārasmi" means great ray, which is a name of the fire god. Although this is specifically a rite for fire offerings, it is evident that if the name of the deity is moved, it can also be used for others. However, it is clearly stated in other contexts, so it is better to do "Om Ah Hum Hoh Traidhātukeśvara," etc. If other water has been arranged, offer it with "Om Śrī Kālacakra Saparivārebhyaḥ Pādyaṃ Pratīccha Namaḥ" (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་ཀཱ་ལ་ཙཀྲ་ས་པ་རི་ཝ་རེ་བྷྱཿ པཱདྱཾ་པྲ་ཏཱི་ཙྪ་ན་མཿ,梵文天城体:ॐ श्री कालचक्र सपरिवारेभ्यः पाद्यं प्रतीच्छ नमः,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ śrī kālacakra saparivārebhyaḥ pādyaṃ pratīccha namaḥ,汉语字面意思:Om, Auspicious, Kalachakra, With retinue, Foot water, Receive, Homage), etc. In the Great Commentary, after the words "Namaḥ," which is said to expand the offering, there are mentions of thirteen offerings such as "precious Indranila," and "golden flowers," etc., and there are also ten others, which will be explained later and will not be mentioned here. In the commentary on the 155th verse of the Empowerment Chapter, there are mentions of ten offerings such as "water vessels and water offering vessels," etc. Therefore, it is sufficient to offer any of these. Currently, in practice, twelve offerings are made. Offerings are made with verses such as "Lord of the Three Realms, Blessed One," or simply with mantras and mudras. For offerings related to the extensive mandala, although there are many beautiful phrases, too many phrases are not good for daily practice. Therefore, it is better to expand the visualization and recite moderately. Sixth, offering inner offerings: It is good to have a new inner offering prepared separately. If not, add to the previous one, bless it extensively, and first recite and offer the names of the root lineage gurus. Although it cannot be fully explained, it seems to be a common practice among secret mantra practitioners, and it seems to be a special means of receiving blessings. Om, Buddha, Homage), etc.
