Likewise, at the end of those, one should appropriately add "Svāhā (藏文:སྭཱཧཱ།,梵文天城體:स्वाहा,梵文羅馬擬音:svāhā,漢語字面意思:Accomplishment)" or "Namaḥ (藏文:ན་མཿ,梵文天城體:नमः,梵文羅馬擬音:namaḥ,漢語字面意思:Homage)" and "Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城體:हुँ,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:Seed Syllable) Phaṭ (藏文:ཕཊ།,梵文天城體:फट्,梵文羅馬擬音:phaṭ,漢語字面意思:Cutting)" and so on. For the mantras of the retinue, add the seed syllable of the Mother, "Phrem (藏文:ཕྲཻཾ།,梵文天城體:phrem,梵文羅馬擬音:phrem,漢語字面意思:Phrem)" and so on. For the female energies, add "A Ā Aṃ A Ha Hā Haṃ Ha." For the Buddhas, Father and Mother, the Bodhisattvas, Father and Mother, the Wrathful Deities, Father and Mother, add "A Ā I Ī Ṛ Ṝ U Ū Ḷ Ḹ Aṃ Aḥ, A Ā E Ai Ar Ār O Au Al Āl Aṃ Āḥ, Ha Hā Ya Yā Ra Rā Va Vā La Lā Haṃ Haḥ." These are clearly stated as mantras to be recited during fire offerings. Gained from that influence, and also generally spoken in the heart mantras. Moreover, arising from the oral instructions of the lineage lamas, adorned with blessings and experience. Therefore, by analogy, these should also be added to the vases and the deities of the speech and body mandalas. This oral instruction should be given: for each category, first offer praise, and at the end, add the transforming mantra, which is the main recitation. If elaborating, one can also add the initial and final mantras to each letter. Many Tibetans in later times make name mantras for each individual deity, which is done merely for the sake of elaboration and has little necessity. If one can recite purely, it may become merely a formality during offerings, but during the ritual, they elaborate on the name mantras of all the deities. And since they have accepted the statement from the tantras, "The Lord of the Wheel recites a hundred thousand, the one with the mandala likewise a hundred thousand," those with wrong views will say, "The number of deities spoken of in your tantras is difficult to accomplish even with a hundred years of life." The cause of such disputes is only this. The answer to this will be quickly explained. Therefore, for the deities in the heart mandala, one should do the heart recitation mentioned above. For the deities of speech and body, it is good to recite a little, but since they are merely emanations from the heart, even when meditating on the complete mandala, although there is no separate recitation for them, the limbs of the ritual will not be deficient. Furthermore, here, even if the great garland mantra of seventy-two syllables, such as the one here, is considered the body recitation mantra, what if a body mantra that is shorter than that and not a garland mantra is applied to the glorious Kālacakra itself?

Furthermore, from the Great Commentary itself, the example of the Tara mantra is used to illustrate how it is applied to the Kalachakra, and the contradictions that may arise in practice are as follows: A mantra like "Om Ah Hum Hoh Ham Kshah, Kalachakra Hum Hum Phat" is also acceptable and good as the first line mantra. From the oral transmission, there is an application such as "Om Kalachakra Mama Vara De Svaha." Alternatively, there is also an application of "Sarva Siddhi Dayaka," and these can also accomplish. Some people want to apply "Mama Shanti Kuru Kuru," but this would become a mantra for a specific activity, so it is not appropriate to do this in the root recitation mantra. Also, the mantra "Om Svaha" alone, because it is the root mantra of Kalachakra that unites all stable and unstable things into one. Without the distinction between the main deity and the retinue, accomplishment can be achieved by relying solely on this mantra, which is not just a primary verbal statement, but the unerring practice of those who possess the lineage of practice and blessing. Second, the distinction in the number of recitations: In the mind recitation, for each of the six limb mantras of activity, recite one hundred thousand times each. For speech recitation, the name mantra, recite one million times, and perform one-tenth of that in fire offerings. For short mantras that exceed the name, the body recitation mantra, reciting ten million times makes the recitation supreme. Alternatively, without reciting these, but in accordance with what is stated in the Great Compendium regarding the seventy-two lines, combine with time, and recite sequentially in different time periods, counting each line separately, and if the total adds up to ten million, then it is said that the number of recitations for accomplishment through recitation has been reached. However, for this main variety of Kalachakra, the name mantras of the heroes and heroines of the Great Compendium mandala, such as "Ha Vajra," are not necessary. The direct statement that accomplishment is achieved through recitation is mostly referring to the state of abandoning distraction. If considering the distracted individuals of the present, it is difficult to achieve accomplishment through recitation. However, even with just that much verbal recitation, the activities such as the Kalachakra can be accomplished accordingly. Alternatively, if it is said that reciting the sixteen-line mantra ten million times also achieves accomplishment through recitation, then although there is no need to connect the sixteen-line mantra with the sixteen charnel grounds here, in the oral instructions...
