It is said that most of Nyam's Geshes seemed to have heard every kind of instruction related to this Dharma. They had completely heard thousands of empowerments, transmissions, and instructions, and had received complete empowerments and guidance more than ten thousand times. It is said that they had listened to and experienced the Supreme Empowerment and the separately compiled instructions, so much so that they could not be counted. In general, he expanded the teachings in every way. In particular, all the valleys of Tibet were filled with practitioners of Vajra Yoga, and in all the places of teaching and listening, they began with the Sutra of the Essence and the Treatise on the Sublime Continuum. The words of the irreversible wheel and the roar of the lion of the Tathagatagarbha spread everywhere. As prophesied in the Drum Great Sutra, this tradition continued for more than eighty years. After that, with more and more people holding higher and higher views, clinging more to the conventional truth of names and forms, and with the appearance of many who had the fortune to gather fame, power, and assemblies of followers, although it was not as clear as before, even until the very end of this degenerate age, the tradition of practicing Vajra Yoga and talking about the Tathagatagarbha has not completely disappeared, and it has appeared many times in between, which is entirely due to the kindness of this holy being. Furthermore, when this holy being initially focused on teaching and listening in Sakya, he repeatedly taught the Four Great Pillars, the Five Families, the Entering the Middle Way, and the latter four of the Five Maitreya Dharmas. Before and after, he also taught about ten different minor treatises. Later, after turning to practice, he never established a continuously developing monastery for teaching and listening. To the many aspiring scholars who gathered, he repeatedly taught the Five Maitreya Dharmas, the Collection of Praises to the Middle Way, the Hundred Thousand Verses of the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Sutra of the Essence, and the three Mind Commentary sections such as the Great Immaculate Light Commentary, as well as the Empowerment Summary and the Great Naropa Commentary on Hevajra. He also taught the Root Verses on the Middle Way, the Bodhisattvacharyavatara, the Compendium of Trainings, the Three Tantras of Hevajra, the Ocean of Dakinis, the Vajra Garland, the Guhyasamaja Dro-sel, and the Red Black Yamantaka, etc., once or twice each. To suit everyone's wishes, he also gave the mandala ritual and the Vajra Garland empowerments, as well as Hevajra, Chakrasamvara, Guhyasamaja, and Yamantaka.

e Geshe. He also bestowed many secret mantra empowerments and subsidiary instructions of both the old and new traditions, such as Dorje Ying and Tamdrin Phurpa. Although he taught many different methods of instruction, he mainly taught the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Abhisamayalankara, the Heart Sutra and the Uttaratantra, the Kalachakra empowerment and instruction, and the explanations of the three sections of the Mind Commentary. He always spoke of these as being like that, and the definitive meaning of all vehicles was also based on these. However, sometimes he would devote himself solely to practice. Even when he was teaching the Dharma, he did not need to examine, review, or contemplate. Except for the times when he went to the Dharma school or when he needed to give instructions, he would remain in profound yoga. Previously, he had carefully and diligently read through all the translated scriptures and treatises once, and that alone allowed him to understand all the meanings without confusion. Some of his attendants said, "If Lama's wisdom were combined with Khenchen Buton's efforts in examination and study, and his devotion to teaching and learning, it would be like the Buddha appearing in the world." He replied, "In general, merely learning these teachings is not enough to understand them. One must accumulate merit through various means, and then meditate in order to understand. Now, at this time of collecting the essence, practice alone is more beneficial." Thus, this holy being had countless disciples in general, and also many disciples who upheld his uncommon view. The main ones were the translators Lodro Pal and Sa-zang Lotsawa Mati Panchen, who were known as his two heart-sons. Kunpang Chenpo Chodrak Palzang provided great service, and he also knew that this translator had reached the highest level. Chogyal Phokley Namgyal, Khenchen Rinchen Tsultrim, Zhangton Sonam Drakpa, Khedrup Konchok Gyaltsen, and Yarlungpa Chopal Gonpo were all propagators of the activity lineage. Among them, Chogyal Phokley Namgyal was born as the son of a great lama, the chief priest of the Ya-tse king, in Tsarka Rong. He lived in secrecy for several years, and then went to Lovo. He learned many tantric teachings from his father and uncle, as well as the Mulamadhyamakakarika.
