其间用品甚是稀少。为此找了很多理由，龙年藏历正月一日开始学习文字。三十个字母认了三四遍。第二天早上读书时，关于“哈”字稍微想了一下。其他的都能流畅地读出来。因为没有努力，所以读书流利大概花了一年多的时间。还有那时和几个玩伴一起在石滩上玩耍时，突然对玩伴们说不要待在这里，我走了，刚到家就塌下来一个非常大的山崖，觉得很神奇。那时听见从定结（今西藏定结县）传来叫喊声，说所有的路上都有很大的冰雹。阿尼等人大部分都没去，觉得这样很好。我用石头砸冰雹，觉得可以了。藏历三月十一日出发，逐渐到达公嘎。那时有官员德列波和南杰两位。之后在多堆拜见了萨迦护法饶美巴，第二天到达卡钦。也做了盛大的迎接仪式等。还拜见了名叫蒋扬贡噶的仁波切。那时非常敬仰和高兴。后来觉得要更加敬仰，所谓“胆小的人三次也会吓出佛性”，就是这样。之后过了五天，仁波切在黄金法座上转法轮。我那时搬到了经堂。像去布托迎请一样，尊者金刚持大驾光临。在给予奈古的教导时，自己所有的时间都被喜悦所覆盖，不知道什么时候睡着的，这样的情况持续了一个多月。给予的教导的词句意思都清楚地理解了，也记在脑海里。请求了白猪的随许，由曲旺巴做朋友，进行了七天的闭关。在接受胜乐金刚黑行的灌顶时，准备的晚上做了很多奇怪的梦。后来道友们也清楚地出现了在梦里破戒的景象。此外，还获得了无数的佛法。在定结寺住了六个月。那时接到从雅砻（今西藏山南地区）传来需要尽快返回的消息，于是向东方出发。

During that time, supplies were very scarce. Many reasons were given for this. On the first day of the first month of the Dragon Year in the Tibetan calendar, I began to learn to read. I recognized the thirty letters three or four times. The next morning, when reading, I thought a little about the letter "Ha." The rest I could read fluently. Because I didn't work hard, it took me more than a year to read fluently. Also, at that time, when I was playing with some friends on the rocky beach, I suddenly said to my friends, "Don't stay here, I'm leaving," and as soon as I got home, a very large cliff collapsed, and I thought it was amazing. At that time, I heard shouts from Tingkye (present-day Tingkye County, Tibet), saying that there was a lot of hail on all the roads. Ani and others mostly didn't go, thinking it was good that way. I threw stones at the hail, thinking it was okay. On the eleventh day of the third month of the Tibetan calendar, I set off and gradually arrived at Gonggar. At that time, there were officials Trepo and Namgyal. Later, in Dodé, I met Sakya Protector Rabmeba, and the next day I arrived at Kachen. A grand welcoming ceremony was also held. I also met the Rinpoche named Jamyang Kunga. At that time, I had great admiration and joy. Later, I felt that I should have even more admiration, as the saying goes, "Even a timid person can be frightened into Buddhahood three times." After five days, the Rinpoche ascended the golden throne to turn the wheel of Dharma. At that time, I moved to the assembly hall. Like sending an invitation to Butö, the venerable Vajradhara arrived. When giving the teachings of Niguma, all my time was filled with joy, and I didn't know when I fell asleep. This situation lasted for more than a month. The words and meanings of the teachings given were clearly understood and remembered in my mind. I requested the permission of the White Pig, and with Chöwangpa as a friend, I spent seven days in retreat. When receiving the initiation of Black Hevajra, I had many strange dreams on the night of preparation. Later, my Dharma friends also clearly appeared in my dreams breaking their vows. In addition, I received countless teachings. I stayed at Tingkye Monastery for six months. At that time, I received a message from Yarlung (present-day Shannan Prefecture, Tibet) that I needed to return as soon as possible, so I set off to the east.
