Also, the twelve-bow-high golden statue of Amitabha was completed in the early third month of the Mongolian calendar. However, it was originally intended to be placed in the Sukhavati Temple, but because the size of the statue was not measured, it was slightly cramped inside, so it was necessary to find another place to put it in advance. Since it was difficult to arrange it properly for a while, a grand exorcism ceremony was held, and protective measures were taken to prevent obstacles from recurring. During this period, the renovation project of the Pema Ling residence also needed to complete the construction of three floors, and the floors of the Sukhavati Temple also needed to be moved, including the drip eaves, etc., which were gradually completed. In memory of the deceased treasurer, gold and silver treasures were presented to the local government in the third and fourth months of the Mongolian calendar, and a large amount of meat and butter were transported. As before, it was very difficult for one person to undertake all the affairs, but no matter what the final result was, it was impossible to satisfy the masters and local officials. The trusted head of servants, the treasurer, the temporary workers, and the heads of departments, etc., each performed their duties. The abbot of Tsa-khu Lung also came to guide on how to do their jobs well. Afterwards, I wanted to hold a large Dharma assembly again, but because there were too many people from all over the place who came to seek Dharma, the Dharma assembly could not be held as desired. At the feet of the Kyipu Living Buddha and some monks of the permanent monastery, the Lamdre teachings were taught to about fifty monks from various places, and various teachings according to their wishes were taught to some monks of the Taglung Monastery. During this period, around the tenth day of the fifth month of the Mongolian calendar, I went to Qulong Jiangtse for pilgrimage. On the way, many young women trembled with cold. In Qulong Temple, many Vajravarahi statues naturally appeared. Everything went well that year. Previously, in order to treat the foot pain, I recuperated in the hot springs for a few days, which helped a little, but could not be maintained for a long time. A market empowerment was also held for the local people. Renovations were also carried out on one side of the houses in Drepung Monastery. Sixth month of the Mongolian calendar.

On the eleventh and twelfth days, the enshrinement and consecration of the golden statue of Amitabha Buddha were also successfully completed. The floors of Dewachen (བདེ་བ་ཅན་, Sukhavati) Pumo (ཕུ་མདའ) Temple were also raised, and the eaves were completed. The throne of the Bhagavan was also roughly finished. The lower level of the restoration project of Drepung Monastery was also completed. At the retreat of glorious Jonang (ཇོ་ནང་), on an auspicious day between the fourth and fifth months, the painting of the murals of the main hall began. On the sixteenth of June, I went to the glorious Jonang Monastery. Based on the previous work, I explained the Six Dharmas of Niguma and Mahamudra, etc., regarding desires and trivial matters. Previously, like Kunga Palzang (ཀུན་དགའ་དཔལ་བཟང་), it was difficult to have a unified mind and have one's own thoughts arise naturally. However, our main assistant, Goto (མགོ་མཐོ་), and the person in charge of the entire department, we regard Olo Kunga Tenpa (ཨོ་ལོ་ཀུན་དགའ་བསྟན་པ་) as the source of everyone's unified opinion, and he himself is very eager to do it. Although it was planned to appoint him at the end of the forty-ninth day ceremony, for some reason, he himself was unwell and it was slightly delayed. This is how it was done this time. Furthermore, I said that I did not stay in one place, but traveled around, and it seemed that I was very happy. You may think that this is just a facade, but it is not. This is in order to experience the joy and happiness of the Dharma elsewhere. Also, listen, the main reason why I am not afraid of death is that the Guru is inseparable from the sacred Dharma, and through their kindness, whether the mind is still or moving, whether a virtuous thought arises or an affliction arises, whether an indeterminate thought arises, whether happiness arises or suffering arises, I can let it arise and dissolve on its own, without any fabrication, and whether leisurely or busy, whether tense or relaxed, I can effortlessly maintain this state. As it is said in the scriptures, "Death is conceptual thought," and to understand this a little from reason and experience is the first reason. Also, due to the kindness of the Guru, now whether in deep sleep or awake, gross conceptual thoughts
