Obtaining nirvana without remainder is the result. The treatises of the Vaibhashikas are not refuted by the Sautrantikas. According to the Sautrantikas, on top of the views of the Vaibhashikas, the view is to add the wisdom that realizes the absence of a self of a person that cannot be said to be either permanent or impermanent. In that state, to cultivate the mind of grasping at characteristics with one-pointed concentration. To abandon the ten non-virtues and accomplish the ten virtues for the benefit of oneself and all others, etc., is considered the practice. The result is also considered to be the attainment of Buddhahood. According to the Pratyekabuddhas, the view is the wisdom that realizes the absence of a self of a person and the absence of a self of phenomena that are apprehended. In that state, to cultivate the mind of grasping at characteristics with one-pointed concentration. To abandon the ten non-virtues and accomplish the ten virtues for the sake of peace for oneself alone, etc., is considered the practice. It is believed that obtaining the nirvana of a Pratyekabuddha is the result. According to the Mind-Only school, the views of the two Shravaka schools are not refuted. On top of the views of the two Shravaka schools, the view is the wisdom that what is apprehended is true and that the consciousness that apprehends it is not true. In that state, to cultivate with one-pointed concentration. To abandon the ten non-virtues and accomplish the ten practices of Dharma for the benefit of oneself and all others, etc., is considered the practice. The result is considered to be the attainment of Buddhahood. Although the two Shravaka schools and the Mind-Only school believe that Buddhahood can be attained by view and meditation alone, Buddhahood cannot be attained by these alone. If it could be attained, there would be no need to teach the Madhyamaka, etc. Therefore, according to the Apavada Madhyamaka school, the views of the two Shravaka schools and the Mind-Only school are not refuted. On top of those views, the view is the wisdom that realizes that all phenomena of conventional truth do not have true nature when examined and analyzed. In that state, to cultivate with one-pointed concentration without conceptualization. To abandon non-virtue and accomplish virtue for the benefit of others, etc., is considered the practice. Based on that, it is believed that Buddhahood can be attained. According to the Svatantrika Madhyamaka school, the views of the two Shravaka schools, the Mind-Only school, and the Apavada Madhyamaka school are not refuted. On top of those views, the view is the wisdom that realizes the spontaneously present Dharmadhatu, the clear light of the nature of mind that is without birth or death, the Sugatagarbha. In that state, to cultivate without conceptualizing anything.

Practicing the ten perfections and so forth, desiring to attain the fruit of the union of the two bodies, yet desiring to attain is indeed attainable. The lamas hold this view. If yogis, too, through the distinction of intelligence, harm those above and above. If it is said, "Here, one view does not negate another, but one is added upon another," is this contradictory? If asked, "Those above and above harm," this refers to the Vaibhashikas, who assert that indivisible particles of dust and momentary indivisible consciousness are ultimately true, but the Madhyamaka-Prasangikas harm this with reasoning that examines ultimate truth. The Vaibhashikas do not accept self-awareness in consciousness, but the Sutra, Mind-Only, and Madhyamaka schools establish self-awareness, thus harming them. The Vaibhashikas also accept that the law of karma is infallible, so they also accept the Sutra and Mind-Only schools. The Madhyamikas also accept the infallibility of karma in conventional truth. The meaning desired by the Sautrantikas is hidden, and the Mind-Only school asserts that the consciousness that is the non-duality of the apprehended and the apprehender is ultimately true, and so forth. These do not harm the tenets of the Vaibhashikas, because they exist. Since a rabbit's horn does not exist, it is impossible to harm a rabbit's horn. I think in this way: there are also two kinds of Vaibhashikas. Those who desire peace and happiness alone, the Vaibhashikas of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, if examined in conventional truth, are non-existent, and if examined in ultimate truth, they exist, realized through the three doors of hearing, thinking, and meditating. Before an unexamined individual, holding the tenets of the Vaibhashikas, accepting them as they are known, is called a Prasangika-Madhyamaka who practices worldly conventions. In the Mahayana, too, there is a Vaibhashika in conventional truth, and I think it is not a characteristic only of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Similarly, accepting the ultimate Great Madhyamaka, but acting according to the tenets of the Sautrantikas in conventional terms, is called a Sautrantika-Madhyamaka. The Madhyamaka is also like this, accepting the ultimate Great Madhyamaka, but acting according to the tenets of the Mind-Only school in conventional terms, is called a Yogachara-Madhyamaka. These are the stages in which the realization of yogis increases from above and above, and the pure Sutras, Tantras, and Shastras that are taught in those stages are manifest. These are extensively discussed through debate and answers.
